DescriptionThe whole story▼
Stealth means black on black. This peak belongs to the Stealth Black Leatt Moto 7.5 and keeps that all-dark look when the original has been broken or scratched up.
Black, then darker grey
The surface is black. A large angular shape on the left and the Leatt logo at the front are printed in a slightly lighter charcoal, visible only when light catches it. Small dark logos sit on the side wings. It comes from the V27 Moto 7.5 Helmet Kit Stealth Black.
Living with a black peak
Dark peaks hide stains well but show fine scratches in sunlight. Rinse dust off with water before wiping, and use a soft cloth.
Fits
For the Leatt Moto 7.5. It is the mid-range model of the Moto line, with an injected polymer shell in three sizes and a hydration port on the side. One peak size suits every 7.5 shell.
A peak that lets go
Leatt builds the peak to break away under a heavy impact. Releasing helps reduce the forces that a rigid peak could pass on to the head and neck.
Replacement
The peak is removable, as Leatt's manual for the 7.5, 8.5 and 9.5 describes. Keep the fixings from the old peak.
Material
100% chloride polypropylene.
Why replace rather than repair
A peak that has broken away often has torn mounting holes, and glued plastic will not hold its shape against wind and roost. A new peak in the same graphic is the cleaner solution.
What you should know
The tonal graphic matches the 2027 (V27) Stealth Black 7.5. On a black 7.5 from an older season the shapes may differ slightly. Fits the Moto 7.5 only and ships as the peak alone.
