The women's Knox Tor Duo pairs a Light Grey armoured shirt cut for women with a Light Grey Tor Shell for rain. Knox designed the set for female riders who head out on adventure and touring trips, on road and off, especially in warm weather.
The shirt is rated EN 17092 Class AA and carries Micro-Lock Compact Level 2 armour at the shoulders and elbows with a full-length back protector. The shell is a 10K waterproof rip-stop layer that folds into an internal pocket.

A Complete Warm-Weather Kit
Knox describes the women's Tor as made for riders who seek thrills and challenges and are adventurers at heart. In the Duo, the armoured shirt is your riding garment on hot days, and the shell is ready in a pocket for when the sky turns grey.
Both pieces are Light Grey, so the outfit stays coordinated whether you are wearing the shell or not.
The Women's Armoured Shirt
Knox uses a super lightweight high-tenacity fabric with a two-tone In-Motion mesh and shapes the seams to contour to a woman's figure. The close core fit keeps the Micro-Lock Compact Level 2 protectors at shoulder and elbow and the full-length Level 2 back protector exactly in place.
Four external zipped pockets with reflective pulls (three front, one rear), an internal chest pocket with a visor wipe and four internal pockets provide storage. Adjustable rivet cuffs, raglan sleeves, a Velcro mount for an optional chest protector and belt loops complete the shirt.
The Women's Tor Shell
The shell is 100 percent rip-stop nylon with a 10K waterproof rating and sealed seams. Knox calls it light as a feather; it is thin and semi-translucent, so it won't weigh you down.
The pull-over design closes with a stretch drawstring at the neck. Elastic binding at the hem and soft bonded elasticated cuffs keep rain out. When not needed, it folds into its own internal pocket and fits into the shirt.
Visibility
Reflective piping, reflective zip pulls and Knox reflective prints at the front and back of the neck on the shirt, plus an all-over tonal reflective mountain print on the shell, help you stay visible at night.
Wearing and Washing
Knox's security belt loops on the inside of the shirt let you attach it to your riding trousers. For washing, remove the shoulder, elbow and back protectors first; dry the shell fully before you pack it away into its pocket.
What You Should Know
The shell is a lightweight rain layer and not protective clothing on its own; it has no insulation. The armoured shirt is made for warm weather. The chest protector is optional and not included.
Use the Knox women's size chart with bust, waist and hip, and choose the larger size if you are between two.
Colour
Light Grey on both pieces looks fresh and technical and helps the shirt stay cooler in the sun. It also stands out more against dark roads than black. The downside is that dust and mud show readily on pale grey, so regular washing is part of owning this set; remove the armour from the shirt beforehand and dry the shell before packing it.
