DescriptionThe whole story▼
Like the related FC models, the FE 350 takes two separate crankcase plugs rather than one, and Accossato's SEP01 is the counterpart to the BEP01, sealing a different point on the engine case. It fits the Husqvarna FE 350 from 2014 to 2017, in orange or blue.
Key Features
- Crankcase plug for the Husqvarna FE 350, 2014 to 2017
- Accossato code SEP01
- Available in orange or blue
- Closes its own opening on the engine case, separate from the BEP01's
- Same code also listed for the Husqvarna FC 450, the Husqvarna FE 501 and the KTM 250EXC-F
- Accossato also offers the BEP01 crankcase plug, the COP01 oil pump cover, the PBM01 rear brake reservoir cover and the TFM03 oil filter cover for this bike
- No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding
Construction and Material Quality
The SEP01 threads into its own opening on the FE 350's engine case, distinct from where the BEP01 sits, though both use the same orange or blue finish. Mistaking one plug for the other is an easy error if only the part number is checked without confirming which point on the case actually needs attention.
Not a Direct Swap for the BEP01
Because the FE 350 uses two different plugs rather than one shared part, ordering a SEP01 to replace a BEP01, or the other way round, will not solve a problem at the wrong opening even though both look similar and cost about the same. Identifying which plug sits where on the specific engine case being worked on, before ordering, avoids that kind of mismatch. Once the right one is confirmed, fitting either is a straightforward job.
Fitment and Compatibility
Only the FE 350's 2014 to 2017 build years carry the SEP01 on Accossato's application list, matching the BEP01's own span but for the separate opening it closes. The Husqvarna FC 450, the Husqvarna FE 501 and the KTM 250EXC-F share this same opening and take the identical plug. Four other parts complete the Accossato range for this FE 350: the BEP01 crankcase plug, the COP01 oil pump cover, the PBM01 rear brake reservoir cover and the TFM03 oil filter cover. It is worth confirming the build year before ordering.
Road Approval
No German ABE is on file for the SEP01, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.
