DescriptionThe whole story▼
Long hours on track demand a suit that fits as precisely as it protects, and the Spidi DP-Progressive in Black/Fluo Yellow is built exactly for that. Shaped around an ergonomic racing cut developed in collaboration with designer Aldo Drudi, every panel is placed to support an aggressive riding position without restriction — so you stay comfortable and focused whether it's a ten-minute sprint or a full day of back-to-back sessions.
Key Features
- Class AAA certification to EN 17092-2:2020 — the highest protection rating available for motorcycle suits
- CE-certified armour at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, with Warrior protection inserts at shoulders and elbows
- Aerodynamic seat cowl stabilises the suit at speed and adds a true racing silhouette
- Accordion stretch panels at key flex points allow unrestricted movement in the riding position
- Partially perforated leather panels maintain airflow during high-intensity sessions in warm conditions
- Removable mesh inner lining and neoprene comfort collar keep long track days manageable
- Adjustable, removable knee sliders and preparation for Level 1 and Level 2 back protector plus Level 1 chest protector
All-Day Comfort and Precision Fit
The ergonomic cut of the DP-Progressive is the detail that separates a suit you can wear all day from one you dread putting back on after lunch. Accordion stretch zones at the knees, hips and arms move with you rather than against you, while neoprene inserts at the collar eliminate chafing on extended runs. The removable mesh lining pulls out easily for maintenance or to adjust to the temperature, and the average weight of approximately 5.0 kg sits well within the range you would expect from a fully armoured AAA-rated suit. The Black/Fluo Yellow colourway is not only visually striking — the high-visibility yellow panels give marshals, corner workers and fellow riders a clear read on your position at all times.
Materials Built for Extreme Demands
Spidi specifies 1.2/1.3 mm cowhide for the main abrasion zones — leather tanned and dyed in Italy to ensure consistent colour depth and grain structure. High-strength Flex Tenax Nylon 6.6 fills the flex panels where stretch and abrasion resistance must coexist, while neoprene fabric sections add elasticity and comfort without compromising the sealed feel. Partial perforation across the chest and limbs keeps the thermal balance manageable on warm days without creating structural weak points.

Race-Ready Safety Details
The protection architecture of the DP-Progressive leaves nothing to chance on track. CE-certified armour is fitted at the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees as standard, with Warrior-grade inserts adding a further layer of impact absorption at the upper body. Integrated knee protectors are positioned for a racing setup, and adjustable sliders at both knees and elbows allow you to dial in the coverage to suit your riding style. Preparation is built in for a back protector at both Level 1 and Level 2, and for a Level 1 chest protector — allowing you to upgrade protection at any point without altering the fit of the suit.
