DescriptionThe whole story

The Just1 J-PGRF Arrow in Neon Yellow / Matte Grey is built around the latest ECE 22.06 certification — the most stringent homologation standard currently in force — making it one of the safest sport helmets available to road riders today. Its high-visibility neon yellow graphic is not simply a style statement; it is a deliberate safety measure that keeps you conspicuous in traffic and on the open road.

Key Features

  • ECE 22.06 certified — meets the current European safety standard for road use
  • Multicomposite Fiber shell offered in 4 shell sizes, reducing unnecessary bulk at every head circumference
  • 4 matched EPS/EPP inner shells with Sequential Density Construction — multiple foam densities work together to manage impact energy across a range of collision forces
  • J.1.E.R. Emergency Release System — cheek pads can be removed rapidly by first responders without moving the rider's head
  • Wide Vision Visor with tool-free swap mechanism and included Pinlock 70 insert for fog-free riding
  • Dark Smoke Visor included as standard — no extra purchase required
  • PROTX antibacterial liner — fully removable and washable, with quick-dry properties for year-round freshness

Safety and Certification

ECE 22.06 is the regulatory benchmark that replaced ECE 22.05, introducing stricter rotational-impact and oblique-impact testing. The J-PGRF Arrow passes these updated protocols, giving you confidence that your helmet has been validated against real-world crash dynamics, not simply legacy drop tests. The four-density Sequential Density Construction in the EPS/EPP liner further refines protection by tailoring energy absorption to the severity of an impact rather than applying a one-size response.

The J.1.E.R. Emergency Release System is a critical detail that riders rarely consider until the moment it matters most. Colour-coded pull tabs on the cheek pads allow paramedics to remove interior padding in seconds, enabling safe helmet removal without spinal movement risk — a feature that can make a decisive difference at the roadside.

Visor System and Optics

The Wide Vision Visor provides an expanded horizontal field of view, reducing the need for excessive head movement when checking mirrors or approaching junctions. The visor is Pinlock 70 ready, and a Pinlock 70 lens is included in the box — simply fit it and ride in all conditions without the misting that plagues cheaper systems. A Dark Smoke Visor is also included as standard, making the J-PGRF Arrow a genuine all-conditions package straight out of the packaging. Tool-free visor exchange means swapping between clear and tinted lenses takes seconds, even at a fuel stop.

Comfort and Fit

The ergonomic interior uses PROTX antibacterial fabric throughout. PROTX actively inhibits bacterial growth, keeping the liner fresher for longer between washes — a meaningful advantage during multi-day tours or warm-weather commuting. The full liner is removable and machine washable. The breathable shell construction promotes airflow, making sustained summer riding significantly more comfortable than helmets without managed ventilation design.

Sizing Guide

Measure your head circumference with a flexible tape placed approximately 1.5 cm above the eyebrows and above the ears. Take the measurement two or three times for accuracy. The helmet should sit snugly with even pressure — no hot spots — and should not rotate freely when you gently try to turn it. If it moves easily, size down.

Size Head circumference (cm) Inches
XS 53–54 20 7/8 – 21 1/4
S 55–56 21 5/8 – 22
M 57–58 22 1/8 – 23 1/8
L 58–60 23 1/4 – 23 5/8
XL 61–62 24 – 24 3/8
XXL 63 24 3/4

Fitment and Compatibility

The Just1 J-PGRF Arrow is a full-face road and sport-touring helmet suitable for adult riders. It is road-legal across all ECE 22.06 signatory markets. Available in sizes XS through XXL to accommodate a wide range of head circumferences.

“A full carbon shell in four sizes with a titanium double-D and eleven vents, for 287 €. The weight is what stands out the wrong way: 1,600 g is heavy for carbon, and it costs the helmet real points here.”
