Die Ninja 400 ist die Maschine, auf der eine ganze Generation das Rennstreckenfahren lernt, und sie erledigt das mit einer einzigen Bremsscheibe vorn. Damit ist die Vorderradbremse das am stärksten beanspruchte Einzelteil des Motorrads und das erste, aus dem ein Fahrer herauswächst. Der N011 ist ZCOOs Nummer für ihren Nissin-Sattel - und eine der wenigen im Programm, bei der die beiden Beläge einer Packung bewusst verschieden groß sind: 96,7 mm und 77,0 mm.
Wichtigste Merkmale

Aufbau und Materialqualität
Eine Einscheibenbremse konzentriert jedes Joule Bremsenergie auf eine Scheibe und einen Sattel, der Belag kann die Wärme also nirgends hinschicken. ZCOO sintert das keramische Reibmaterial auf lasergeschnittene Legierungsplatten und fügt beides mit dem Verfahren, das die Okada Corporation für ihre Rennnummern entwickelt hat. Das ungleiche Paar ist keine Verpackungslaune: Die beiden Seiten des Sattels sehen unterschiedlichen Druck, und die Formen sind entsprechend geschnitten.
Wirkung und Gefühl
An einer 400er reicht der organische Serienbelag für die Straße und ist nach drei, vier Runden mit seinem Latein am Ende. Was die EX-Race-Mischung bietet, ist nicht mehr Spitzenkraft - die setzt der Reifen längst vor dem Belag - sondern ein Reibniveau, das nicht abfällt. Für einen Fahrer, der an seiner Bremstechnik arbeitet, ist genau das der ganze Punkt: ein Bremspunkt, der in Runde acht dasselbe bedeutet wie in Runde eins. Die Mischung schützt außerdem die einzelne Scheibe, und die ist an diesem Motorrad das teure Teil.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Von ZCOO gelistet für die Kawasaki Ninja 400 einschließlich der KRT- und SE-Version, 2018 bis 2023. Dieselbe N011-Form deckt auch die Ninja 250, die Z300 und die W230 ab. Nur Vorderachse.
Straßenzulassung
Für diesen Belag ist keine ECE-R90-Genehmigung dokumentiert. Sie steht weder im ZCOO-Katalog noch auf der Seite des europäischen Distributors, und auf den uns vorliegenden Verpackungsdaten ist keine Genehmigungsnummer angegeben. ZCOO selbst beschreibt die Mischung als gleichermaßen für Renn- und Straßenmaschinen geeignet – das ist eine Beschreibung der Mischung und keine Typgenehmigung. Solange der Distributor keine Genehmigung schriftlich bestätigt, behandeln Sie den Belag als Renn- und Rennstreckenteil: In Deutschland darf ein Ersatzbremsbelag ohne ECE-R90-Genehmigung nicht an einem im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr genutzten Motorrad verbaut werden.
