Die Panigale V4 schickt mehr Last über die Vorderachse als fast alles, was Ducati je gebaut hat. Wer einen 1.103-cm³-V4 aus Höchstgeschwindigkeit in eine Zweite-Gang-Kurve hineinbremst, verlangt vom Belag ein stabiles Reibniveau, während die Scheibe glüht - und einen Hebel, der am Ende einer zwanzigminütigen Session noch etwas sagt. Der ZCOO B005 in der EX-Race-Mischung ist genau für dieses Fenster gebaut: eine keramisch gesinterte Rezeptur, deren Bremskraft proportional zum Handkraftaufbau steigt statt zuzuschnappen, getragen von der größten Trägerplatte im ZCOO-Programm mit 102,2 mm.

Aufbau und Materialqualität
ZCOO-Beläge werden von der Okada Corporation in Japan gefertigt. Der Reibbelag wird auf eine lasergeschnittene Metallträgerplatte gesintert, mit einem Fügeverfahren, das die beiden klassischen Schwächen gesinterter Beläge beseitigen soll: Fading am oberen Ende des Temperaturbereichs und das Ablösen der Reibschicht von der Platte. Beim B005 trägt die Platte den Reibbelag als eine durchgehende lange Fläche statt als mehrere kleine Blöcke. Das verteilt die eintretende Wärme über eine größere Fläche und hält die Druckverteilung gegen die Scheibe gleichmäßiger, während das Material abträgt.
Wirkung und Gefühl
Wo sich die EX-Race-Mischung auf einer Panigale bezahlt macht, ist die zweite Sessionhälfte. Ein Belag, der kalt kräftig zubeißt und dann hölzern wird, zwingt den Fahrer, den Bremspunkt Runde für Runde nach vorn zu legen. Die EX-Rezeptur ist stattdessen auf eine flache Reibwertkurve ausgelegt: Der Anbiss ist bewusst nicht der aggressivste im ZCOO-Programm, dafür verändert sich die für eine bestimmte Verzögerung nötige Handkraft kaum, wenn Wärme entsteht. ZCOO bildet im Betrieb außerdem eine dünne Keramikschicht auf der Scheibe - deshalb verschleißt die Mischung Scheiben spürbar weniger als ein konventioneller Sinterbelag.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Von ZCOO gelistet für die Ducati Panigale V4 der Modelljahre 2018 bis 2024 mit dem 1.103-cm³-Motor. Die B005-Form gehört zur Brembo-Monoblock-Familie; prüfen Sie vor der Bestellung, ob Ihr Sattel einen Belag von 102,2 mm Länge und 42,0 mm Höhe aufnimmt. Nur Vorderachse - unter dieser Nummer führt ZCOO keinen Hinterradbelag.

Für diesen Belag ist keine ECE-R90-Genehmigung dokumentiert. Sie steht weder im ZCOO-Katalog noch auf der Seite des europäischen Distributors, und auf den uns vorliegenden Verpackungsdaten ist keine Genehmigungsnummer angegeben. ZCOO selbst beschreibt die Mischung als gleichermaßen für Renn- und Straßenmaschinen geeignet – das ist eine Beschreibung der Mischung und keine Typgenehmigung. Solange der Distributor keine Genehmigung schriftlich bestätigt, behandeln Sie den Belag als Renn- und Rennstreckenteil: In Deutschland darf ein Ersatzbremsbelag ohne ECE-R90-Genehmigung nicht an einem im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr genutzten Motorrad verbaut werden.
