Mit nur 5,5 kg — gegenüber 9,1 kg beim Serien-System — nimmt diese präzisionsgefertigte Titananlage dem Fahrwerk 3,6 kg ab und schärft Bremsverhalten, Beschleunigung und Balance in der Kurvenmitte auf eine Weise, die kein Anbauteil erreichen kann.

Technik & Verarbeitungsqualität
Vandemon verwendet japanisches Titan der Güte Ti1 — dasselbe Material, auf das führende WorldSBK- und MotoGP-Teams wegen seiner Kombination aus geringer Masse, hoher Zugfestigkeit und Beständigkeit gegen die extreme thermische Wechselbelastung eines Desmosedici-Stradale-V4-Motors vertrauen. Die saubere Oberflächenstruktur des Materials erlaubt eng radiierte Biegungen ohne Risse oder Wandstärkenschwankungen, und Vandemon optimiert die Wandstärke gezielt an jeder Biegung, um die Haltbarkeit dort zu gewährleisten, wo die Spannungskonzentrationen am höchsten sind.
Das natürlich gebürstete Titanfinish ist nicht nur Ästhetik. Die im Vergleich zu Edelstahl geringere Wärmeleitfähigkeit von Titan reduziert die Hitzeabstrahlung von der Unterseite des Motorrads deutlich, verbessert den Fahrkomfort bei langen Trackday-Sessions an heißen Tagen und erleichtert den Zugang zu Bauteilen an der Unterseite bei Wartungsarbeiten in der Boxengasse.
Leistung auf der Rennstrecke
Die Low-Mount-Konfiguration positioniert beide schlanken ovalen Endtöpfe unterhalb und beidseitig des Hinterrads, sodass die Masse tief und zentral bleibt. In Kombination mit dem um 3,6 kg geringeren Gewicht gegenüber der Serienanlage führt das direkt zu kürzeren Bremswegen, schnelleren Richtungswechseln und einer besser vorhersehbaren Balance in der Kurvenmitte — Vorteile, die sich über eine gesamte Renndistanz summieren. Die Leistungssteigerung von mindestens 6 % wird erst mit einem eigenen Steuergerät-Remapping auf dem Rollenprüfstand voll ausgeschöpft, und die vier Lambdasonden-Bohrungen machen diesen Prozess für jeden kompetenten Tuner unkompliziert.
