Gefertigt nach den strengen Maßstäben der Superbike-Weltmeisterschaft, ist das STM EVO SBK Trockenkupplungs-Kit KTT-04300 eine komplette, aus dem Rennsport abgeleitete Baugruppe, die speziell für die Yamaha YZF-R1 und R1M über alle drei Generationen hinweg entwickelt wurde – RN32, RN49 und RN65. Der EVO-SBK-Anti-Hopping-Mechanismus ist das Ergebnis jahrelanger Entwicklung im Rundstreckensport. Statt lediglich das Rattern unter Motorbremsung zu reduzieren, steuert er aktiv die Auskuppelkurve beim Herunterschalten, glättet die Lastspitze im Antriebsstrang und lässt den Hinterreifen seine Linie deutlich berechenbarer halten. Das Ergebnis ist ein Kurveneingang, der ruhig und bewusst wirkt – nicht nervös.
