Ordnet man die vier Materialien als Leiter an, wirken die Sprossen gleichmäßig verteilt. Sind sie nicht. Vom Standardgewebe zum feinen Vlies fällt die Bewertung von 80 Mikron auf 14, während die Rate von 5.050 l/m²/sek auf 1.800 fällt – etwa ein Drittel des Durchflusses wird für eine sehr große Veränderung der Bewertung aufgegeben. Von dort zu dieser Matte fällt die Bewertung von 14 Mikron auf 7, während die Rate von 1.800 auf 560 fällt – wieder etwa ein Drittel, für eine Veränderung der Bewertung, die nur ein Zehntel so groß ist wie die erste. Zwei Schritte ähnlicher Kosten, die völlig unterschiedliche Mengen kaufen.

Wo die Leiter aufhört, linear zu sein
Der größte Teil der in dieser Reihe verfügbaren Rückhaltung ist bereits eingesammelt, wenn die Bewertung 14 Mikron erreicht; der Schritt auf 7 kostet noch einmal so viel Durchfluss für den verbleibenden Bruchteil. In Summe unterscheiden sich Standardgewebe und diese Matte um den Faktor neun, die größte Kluft im gesamten Programm. Dieser Faktor ist kein Mangel des Materials. Es ist das, was eine Matte, die für sichtbare Luftverschmutzung entwickelt wurde, verlangen muss, um ihre Arbeit zu tun.
Was das für eine RR bedeutet
Es bedeutet, dass die Entscheidung anhand der Bedingungen getroffen werden muss, nicht anhand der Spezifikation des Motorrads. Sofern die betreffende RR also nicht tatsächlich auf Luft mit mineralischer Fracht trifft, ist das Standardgewebe das vernünftigere Element, und das mittlere Vlies ist da, falls die Bedingungen real, aber gelegentlich sind. Keines der vier ist ein Leistungsteil: Ein Einsatzelement macht ein Serienmotorrad nicht spürbar stärker. Dieses hier gibt bewusst Durchfluss auf, um Rückhaltung zu kaufen, und sollte nur dort gekauft werden, wo diese Rückhaltung gebraucht wird.
Pflege und Reinigung
Ein PM190T12 setzt sich schneller zu als ein gröberes Material, rechnen Sie also damit, den Luftfilterkasten öfter zu öffnen. Die Routine bleibt gleich: Druckluft an der sauberen Seite, nach außen geführt, damit die Belastung durch die Oberfläche entweicht, die sie aufgehalten hat. Wenn Luft nicht genügt, lauwarmes Wasser und ein mildes Reinigungsmittel, gespült, bis das Wasser klar ist. Dann bewegte Luft und Zeit – nie eine Heißluftpistole, ein Heizkörper oder eine Flamme, die diese Matten schneller zerstören als jeder Staub – und trocken wieder einsetzen. Passform & Kompatibilität
Gelistet für die KTM 1290 Super Duke RR, 2021 bis 2023, im Originalgehäuse. Der Code deckt insgesamt drei Maschinen ab, die beiden 1290 Super Duke und die 1390 Super Duke R, jede mit eigenen Jahren im Fitment-Tab.
