Ein feineres Element hält nicht länger. Es füllt sich schneller, weil es mehr zurückhält, und wer eines montiert in der Hoffnung, den Luftfilterkasten seltener aufsuchen zu müssen, hat die Rechnung genau umgekehrt aufgestellt. Bei der Trofeo AC ist das kein Vorwurf an das Teil – es ist der Kern der Sache. Das verkürzte Intervall endet mit einer Druckluftpistole und einer Viertelstunde, nie mit einer Bestellung, sodass die zusätzliche Wartung nur in Zeit bezahlt wird und in nichts sonst.

Warum ein kürzeres Intervall hier erschwinglich ist
Bei einem Wegwerf-Einsatz wird jede Verkürzung des Zyklus zu einer Zeile auf einer Rechnung, weshalb ihn genau deshalb niemand verkürzt. Ein waschbares Element kappt diese Verbindung. Die Häufigkeit kann sich nach Wetter und Straßen richten statt nach dem Budget, und zwei Wochen hinter Erntefahrzeugen lassen sich noch am selben Abend beantworten. Das Einzige, was es verlangt, ist bewusst geschenkte Aufmerksamkeit, denn eine Tiefenmatte zeigt an ihrer Außenseite fast nichts und wird niemanden darauf hinweisen, dass ihr Moment gekommen ist.
Was das feine Ende dafür liefert
Durchfluss, und zwar einen erheblichen Teil davon – etwa ein Drittel dessen, was das gewebte Standardteil durch dieselbe Fläche unbelasteten Materials lässt. Enger hält mehr zurück und lässt weniger durch; diese beiden Aussagen lassen sich nicht trennen, weshalb 14 Mikron eine andere Antwort ist, keine überlegene, und weshalb das gröbere Gewebe nicht das schlechtere Produkt ist. Auch das hier ist kein Leistungsteil. Dieses an einer Serien-Trofeo AC zu montieren, macht sie nicht schneller. Der Gewinn ist das, was über die Jahre, in denen Sie das Motorrad behalten, dem Motor fernbleibt.
Pflege und Reinigung
Druckluft, immer auf die saubere Fläche gerichtet und nach außen drückend, sodass das Gespeicherte auf dem Weg verlässt, auf dem es angekommen ist, statt tiefer hineingedrückt zu werden. Hart getrocknete Ablagerungen lösen sich in lauwarmem Wasser mit einem Tropfen mildem Reinigungsmittel, gespült, bis das Ablaufwasser klar ist. Danach bewegte Luft bei Raumtemperatur und keine Abkürzungen – nichts Warmes, keine Flamme – und der CM251P14 kommt trocken und unbehandelt zurück in den Kasten.
