Die faire Art, dieses Element vorzustellen, ist, zuerst den Preis zu nennen und dann den Nutzen. Seine Durchflussleistung liegt bei 1.800 l/m²/sek. Das Gewebe-Element, das in denselben Classic-350-Luftfilterkasten passt, ist mit 5.050 angegeben, sodass das Vlies-Element etwas mehr als ein Drittel so viel Luft durch dieselbe Quadratmeterfläche des Gewebes lässt. Sprint Filter druckt beide Zahlen ab, nicht nur die schmeichelhaftere, und genau das macht dies zu einer echten Entscheidung. Erkauft wird mit dieser Reduzierung eine Filterung bei 14 statt bei 80 Mikron, und ob dieser Tausch sinnvoll ist, hängt vollständig davon ab, wie viel feiner Split die Luft auf Ihren üblichen Strecken mit sich führt.

Was die Reduzierung einen 350er-Single tatsächlich kostet
Ein Einzylinder dieser Größe arbeitet bei Straßentempo problemlos innerhalb des Luftvolumens, das seine Ansaugung liefern kann, und Luftfilterkasten sowie Motorsteuerung wurden ohnehin um ein Papierelement herum abgestimmt. Der abgegebene Durchfluss ist hier deshalb erschwinglich, auf eine Art, wie es bei einem hochgetunten Mehrzylinder nicht der Fall wäre. Erschwinglich heißt aber nicht kostenlos, und auf sauberen asphaltierten Straßen gibt es keinen Grund, ihn überhaupt aufzuwenden: Dort ist das Gewebemedium die bessere Wahl, und Sprint Filter verkauft es für denselben Kasten.
Der Teil des Tauschs, der sich lohnt
Wo die Luft tatsächlich staubig ist, kehrt sich das Argument um. Was einen Luftfilter passiert, kommt nicht wieder heraus. Es erreicht die Zylinderlaufbahn, die Kolbenringe und die Ventilsitze und lagert sich dort ab. Ein feineres Medium verschiebt diese Grenze in die einzige Richtung, die bei einem Motor zählt, der über Jahre laufen soll. Schneller wird das Motorrad dadurch nicht, denn ein Einsteck-Filter macht einen Serien-350er-Single nicht spürbar stärker, aber er entscheidet, was der Motor schlucken muss.
Pflege und Reinigung
Den CM231P14 trocken warten. Druckluft, auf die saubere Seite gerichtet und nach außen geführt, ist im normalen Gebrauch die gesamte Routine. Ein nasser oder gestreuter Winter kann einen Film hinterlassen, den Luft allein nicht löst; lauwarmes Wasser mit mildem Reinigungsmittel schafft Abhilfe, gespült bis das Wasser klar abläuft. Danach ausschließlich an der Luft trocknen, nie an einem Heizkörper und nie mit offener Flamme, und ohne etwas aufzusprühen zurück in den Kasten. Das Wartungsblatt befindet sich im Downloads-Tab.
Passgenauigkeit & Kompatibilität
Für die Royal Enfield Classic 350, gebaut zwischen 2022 und 2026. Eine Teilenummer, fünf Motorräder: Die Bullet 350, die Goan Classic 350, die Hunter 350 und die Meteor 350 verwenden das identische Element. Jeder Baujahreszeitraum ist im Fitment-Tab aufgeführt.
