Die meisten Sprint-Filter-Familien verengen sich, je feiner das Medium wird. Das Standardgewebe deckt die gesamte Plattform ab, und die Spezialmaterialien erscheinen bei der Handvoll Maschinen, die sie plausibel gebrauchen könnten, sodass die Form der Auflistung selbst schon eine Empfehlung ist. Diese Familie verengt sich nirgends. Alle vier Medien sind für genau dieselben drei Motorräder gelistet, keine Maschine fehlt in irgendeiner Liste, und auch die Preisliste bleibt gleichermaßen still: Die beiden feinsten Materialien liegen hier unter dem Standardgewebe und auf gleicher Höhe zueinander. Nichts im Katalog verweist auf eines von beiden.

Eine Auflistung, die nichts rangiert
Wo die kleineren Duke-Familien eine klare Verjüngung zeigen, mit weniger Maschinen bei den feinen Materialien als beim Standardgewebe, zeigt diese hier einen flachen Block von drei Maschinen über alle vier Medien hinweg. Das liegt daran, dass ein Zulieferer auflistet, was physisch passt, und jedes dieser Elemente passt in denselben Kasten. Das Vorhandensein eines Materials für staubige Bedingungen bei einer 1290 Super Duke R ist also eine Aussage über Geometrie, und es wäre dort, ob je ein einziger Besitzer es gebraucht hätte oder nicht.
Was die Entscheidung der Straße überlässt
Die Frage, die ein P14 beantwortet, ist, was die Luft mit sich trägt, nicht was der Motor leistet. Schotter auf einer Bergverbindungsstraße, ein Sommer voller Erntewagen, eine Bauumleitung, die eine Saison lang dauert: Das sind Bedingungen einer Strecke, keine Eigenschaften eines Motorrads. Wo sie zutreffen, tauscht dieses Element rund zwei Drittel der Rate des Standardgewebes gegen eine deutlich feinere Bewertung. Wo sie nicht zutreffen, ist das Standardgewebe der bessere Kauf – und keines von beiden macht eine Standardmaschine spürbar schneller.
Pflege und Reinigung
Weil das PM190P14 trocken bleibt, ist die Wartung schnell erledigt. Druckluft an der sauberen Seite angesetzt und nach außen geführt drückt die Belastung durch die Oberfläche zurück, die sie aufgefangen hat, und das ist das ganze normale Intervall. Hat das Material mehr aufgenommen, als Luft bewegen kann, waschen Sie es in lauwarmem Wasser mit mildem Reinigungsmittel und spülen, bis das Wasser klar abläuft. Danach braucht es zirkulierende Luft und Zeit – nie eine Heißluftpistole, einen Heizkörper oder eine Flamme, die alle das Gewebe schädigen – und es wird trocken wieder eingesetzt. Passform & Kompatibilität
Für die KTM 1290 Super Duke R von 2020 bis 2023, im unveränderten Originalluftfilterkasten. Drei Maschinen führen diesen Code: diese, die 1290 Super Duke RR und die 1390 Super Duke R, jede mit eigener Baujahresspanne im Fitment-Tab. Zwei Hubräume teilen sich in diesen Einträgen den Namen Super Duke R, daher ist das Modelljahr das, was die Passform bestimmt.
