Voge hat diese Trofeo AC nur für ein einziges Modelljahr gelistet. Genau dort fängt üblicherweise ein Versorgungsproblem an: eine Maschine, die kurz gebaut, in bescheidener Stückzahl verkauft wird und dann still und leise aus jedem Ersatzteilregal verschwindet, während ihre Besitzer sie noch fahren. Der Luftfilterkasten ist die Ausnahme, und der Grund dafür ist, dass das Element darin nie allein diesem Motorrad gehörte. Es gehört zu einem Gehäuse, das Voge noch jahrelang danach weiterverwendet hat, unter anderen Namen.

Eine kurze Modellreihe auf einer langlebigen Teilenummer
CM251S ist insgesamt gegen neun Einträge gelistet – darunter Brivido, Valico und ein Trofeo ACX Scrambler –, und mehrere dieser Produktionszeiträume laufen bis heute. Die Verfügbarkeit hängt also nicht davon ab, wie viele Trofeo AC in einer Saison den Showroom verlassen haben; sie trägt sich über die gesamte Gruppe. Für einen Besitzer ist das mehr wert als jede Spezifikation auf dieser Seite, denn die übliche Sorge bei einer Ein-Jahres-Maschine ist nicht, ob ein Teil gut ist, sondern ob es in fünf Jahren noch erhältlich sein wird.
Trotzdem nur einmal gekauft
Trotzdem ist das Interessante an diesem Element, dass die Versorgungsfrage für dieses Teil größtenteils gar nicht mehr gilt. Es wird gereinigt und wiedereingesetzt statt verbraucht, sodass der Luftfilterkasten nach dem ersten Kauf komplett von der Bestellliste verschwindet. Was es im Gegenzug bietet, ist bescheiden und sollte klar benannt werden: Kein Einsteckelement macht eine Serien-Trofeo AC spürbar stärker. Es bietet einen Ansaugwiderstand, der nach jedem Service zu demselben Ausgangspunkt zurückkehrt, statt unbemerkt anzusteigen, und die doppelte Filterfläche, über die sich eine gegebene Ladung dünn verteilen kann.
Pflege und Reinigung
Druckluft auf der sauberen Fläche, nach außen gearbeitet, entfernt den trockenen Anteil der Ladung auf demselben Weg, auf dem er hereinkam, und deckt die meisten Services ab. Insektenreste und Straßenfilm brauchen lauwarmes Wasser mit einem milden Reinigungsmittel, gespült, bis das Wasser klar abläuft. Getrocknet wird kühl und langsam: nur bewegte Luft, nie eine Heißluftpistole, ein Heizkörper oder eine Flamme. Den CM251S trocken wieder einsetzen, ohne etwas aufzusprühen. Gefertigt für die Voge Trofeo AC 500 des Modelljahrs 2021, die ihre eigene Zeile in der Passformliste hat. Voge hat den Namen Trofeo für mehrere Hubraumklassen mit unterschiedlichen Teilenummern dahinter verwendet, bestellen Sie daher nach diesem Code und dem Jahr, niemals allein nach dem Namen.
