Voge hat den Namen Trofeo mehr als einmal verwendet, und nicht alle Versionen nehmen denselben Luftfilter. Dieser Katalog listet einen Trofeo mit 300, mit 350, mit 500 und, als ACX Scrambler, mit 525 cm³ – und sie laufen nicht alle unter einer Teilenummer zusammen. Das SM257S ist das Element für die 300er, gebaut für die Jahre 2020 und 2021. Prüfen Sie vor der Bestellung nach Namen den Hubraum in Ihren Fahrzeugpapieren: Bei dieser Baureihe führt allein das Typenschild nicht zum richtigen Panel.

Eine Trofeo anhand der Nummer bestellen
Die Regel ist einfach, sobald man die Falle erkennt: Zuerst Hubraum und Baujahr abgleichen, dann die Teilenummer, und den Modellnamen als letzte statt als erste Prüfung behandeln. Die 300er von 2020 und 2021 läuft unter SM257S zusammen mit zwei anderen Voge-Baureihen; die 350er hat ein eigenes Element, und die 500er sowie die 525er ACX Scrambler teilen sich ein drittes. Nichts auf dem Typenschild verrät, welches es ist – der Luftfilterkasten schon, und einen Luftfilterkasten vermisst ein Besitzer normalerweise nicht. Deshalb ist die Kompatibilitätsliste auf einer solchen Seite die eigentliche Beschreibung, und deshalb lohnt es sich, sie vor dem Warenkorb zu lesen statt danach.
Das Medium selbst
Trockenes Polyestergewebe, einlagig, 80 µm zwischen den Fäden bei einem Nenndurchfluss von 5.050 l/m²/sek. Der Wert von ø 22 Mikron für die Faser ist eine Fadendimension und keine Öffnung; was durchkommt oder aufgehalten wird, entscheiden die Lücken drumherum. Geringer Widerstand wird mit Fläche erkauft, rund doppelt so viel wie andere Performance-Elemente tragen, gefaltet in das Seriengehäuse. Und die ehrliche Obergrenze: Dieses Panel macht eine Standard-Trofeo 300AC nicht spürbar schneller. Es bietet einen niedrigeren Ansaugwiderstand, der dort bleibt, wo er begonnen hat, und ein Teil, das gereinigt statt neu gekauft wird.
Pflege und Reinigung
Druckluft ist für die meisten Intervalle die gesamte Routine. Von der sauberen Seite nach außen arbeiten, damit verlässt, was das Gewebe aufgefangen hat, denselben Weg, auf dem es hereinkam; in die andere Richtung drückt es sich fest ins Gewebe. Wenn Luft nicht mehr ausreicht, hilft lauwarmes Wasser mit einem milden Spülmittel, gefolgt von Spülen, bis das Wasser klar abläuft. Danach trocknet das SM257S in bewegter Raumluft und nichts Wärmerem – kein Heizkörper, keine Heißluftpistole, keine Flamme – und wird trocken wieder eingesetzt, ohne dass etwas darauf gesprüht wird. Passform & Kompatibilität
