Niemand denkt bei einer so neuen Maschine an den Luftfilter, und genau das ist der Zeitpunkt, an dem sich die Entscheidung lohnt. Das Element in einer Tiger Sport 800 von 2025 erledigt seine Aufgabe einwandfrei und wird das noch eine Weile tun — weshalb die Frage verschoben wird, bis das erste zum Ersatz ansteht, und dann mit dem beantwortet wird, was der Händler gerade im Regal hat. Die Entscheidung zwischen einem Teil, das man wiederholt kauft, und einem, das man einmal kauft, trifft sich am günstigsten vor dem ersten Ersatz, nicht nach dem dritten.

Die Rechnung, die niemand am Anfang macht
Ein Wegwerfelement ist nicht einmalig teuer. Es ist als Serie teuer, und diese Serie ist unsichtbar, wenn man nur das erste Exemplar betrachtet. Über die Jahre, die ein Sporttourer tatsächlich behalten wird — und das ist eine Klasse von Motorrädern, die Menschen behalten —, ist diese Serie die gesamten Kosten, während die waschbare Alternative ein einmaliger Kauf ist plus eine Druckluftleitung, die Sie ohnehin schon besitzen. Der Grund, jetzt statt später darüber nachzudenken, ist schlicht, dass jeder in der Zwischenzeit gekaufte Ersatz Geld ist, ausgegeben innerhalb einer Entscheidung, die Sie noch gar nicht getroffen hatten.
Was es nicht verspricht
Nicht mehr Leistung. Ein Einsatzelement macht eine Serien-Tiger-Sport-800 nicht spürbar schneller, und das tut nichts, was in einen unveränderten Luftfilterkasten eingebaut wird — die Ansaugung wurde als Gesamtsystem freigegeben, und der Filter war nie das Teil, das sie ausgebremst hat. Der SM301S bietet einen niedrigeren Ausgangswiderstand und, weil Sie ihn jederzeit zurücksetzen können, einen, der niedrig bleibt. Ein Papiereinsatz ist an dem Tag am besten, an dem er eingebaut wird, und am schlechtesten an dem Tag, an dem er ausgebaut wird, und nichts dazwischen gibt Ihnen ein Signal.
Pflege und Reinigung
Druckluft an der sauberen Seite, nach außen gearbeitet, sodass alles, was das Gewebe gestoppt hat, dort austritt, wo es eindrang. Löst sich etwas trocken nicht, hilft lauwarmes Wasser mit etwas mildem Spülmittel; spülen Sie, bis das Wasser klar bleibt. Lassen Sie es in seinem eigenen Tempo an bewegter Luft trocknen, niemals mit Hitze oder Flamme, und setzen Sie es trocken und unbehandelt wieder ein. Passform & Kompatibilität
Das P08-Element für die Triumph Tiger Sport 800, Modelljahre 2025 bis 2026. Dasselbe Teil deckt auch die Trident 800 von 2026 ab, die sich den Luftfilterkasten teilt. Beachten Sie den Hubraum: Die 660er Tiger Sport und Trident benötigen ein anderes Element — bestellen Sie daher nach Hubraum und Modelljahr statt nach Namen.
