Jedes Merkblatt für einen Trockenfilter beginnt mit Druckluft, was still und leise einen Kompressor voraussetzt. Die meisten Fahrer besitzen keinen. Der PM200S lohnt sich trotzdem, denn diese Annahme ist weicher, als sie aussieht: Was das Gewebe braucht, ist bewegte Luft, die auf seine saubere Seite gerichtet ist, und es gibt mehrere Wege, das zu erzeugen, die keine Werkstatt voraussetzen.
Hauptmerkmale

Luft ohne Kompressor
Ein Druckluftschlauch an der Tankstelle reicht dafür aus, ebenso ein kleiner Reifenkompressor mit Blaspistolenaufsatz oder eine Dose Druckluft, wie sie zum Reinigen von Tastaturen verkauft wird. Der Abstand ist wichtiger als der Druck: Halten Sie die Düse eine Handbreit von der sauberen Seite entfernt und bewegen Sie sie ständig, dann löst sich der Staub aus dem Gewebe, statt hindurchgetrieben zu werden. Was Sie nicht tun dürfen, ist die Düse gegen das Gewebe zu drücken, und was Sie überhaupt nicht tun dürfen, ist auf die schmutzige Seite zu zielen, was die Verschmutzung eher hineindrückt als entfernt.
Wenn Wasser die Antwort ist
Gelegentlich reicht Luft nicht aus — Schlamm, der auf einer nassen Schotterstraße aufgewirbelt wird, trocknet im Gewebe ein und muss gelöst werden. Auch dafür braucht es keine besondere Ausrüstung: warmes Wasser, etwas Spülmittel, vorsichtiges Bewegen mit den Fingern statt mit einer Bürste, langes Nachspülen, und dann Zeit. Das Trocknen ist der einzige Schritt, der nicht beschleunigt werden kann, und genau dort werden Elemente ruiniert, denn eine Heißluftpistole oder ein Heizkörper verformt das Medium. Lassen Sie ihn an einem Ort mit bewegter Luft, bis er ganz durchgetrocknet ist. Bei einer 390 Adventure bedeutet das eine Wartezeit von einem Abend — ein guter Grund, das vor einer Tour zu erledigen und nicht währenddessen.
Pflege und Reinigung
Die Verbote sind kürzer als die Anleitung und wichtiger: nie Luft auf die schmutzige Seite richten, das Gewebe nie mit einer Bürste schrubben, es nie mit Hitze trocknen, und nie feucht wieder einbauen. Alles andere verzeiht Fehler. Das bebilderte Wartungsblatt von Sprint Filter, mit der Abfolge in Bildern, gehört zu den Dateien im Downloads-Tab. Und in keiner Phase davon kommt Öl vor, was genau die eine Einschätzung entfällt, die ein geölter Filter von Ihnen verlangt.
