Regen ist nichts, worauf sich ein Straßenmotorrad einplanen kann. Ein Luftfilterkasten ist so gebaut, dass er eine gewisse Menge Wasser aufnimmt, ohne sie weiterzugeben, und das Element darin muss es überstehen, jahrelang immer wieder feucht zu werden und wieder zu trocknen. Sprint Filter stellt durchaus ein wasserabweisendes Medium her – das P037, 37 Mikron bei klassifizierten 4.500 l/m²/sek –, aber es ist für diesen Element-Code nicht gelistet. Für die CFMOTO SR-R 675 lautet die Antwort auf schlechtes Wetter: das trockene Standardgewebe und eine korrekte Trocknungsroutine, und beides ist weniger Aufwand, als es klingt.

Ein feuchtes Element ist kein beschädigtes Element
Polyester wird nicht weich, quillt nicht auf und verliert nicht seine Form, wie es bei einem gefalteten Papierelement irgendwann geschieht, weshalb das Waschen hier zur Routine gehört und keine Notmaßnahme ist. Die entscheidende Regel betrifft Hitze, nicht Wasser. Ein Heißluftgebläse, ein Heizkörper oder eine Flamme schaden dem Material, daher erfolgt das Trocknen ausschließlich durch bewegte Luft und dauert, so lange es dauert. Die zweite Regel ist Geduld: Ein Element, das sich noch kühl und schwer anfühlt, ist nicht trocken, und ein feuchtes Element gehört auf die Werkbank, nicht in das Gehäuse.
Der Schritt, den ein geöltes Filterelement zusätzlich verlangt und dieses nicht
Ein geöltes Baumwollelement muss nach jeder Wäsche neu behandelt werden, und die Dosierung ist eine Einschätzung, die niemand im Nachhinein überprüfen kann – zu wenig, und das Medium leistet nicht, wofür es entwickelt wurde, zu viel, und der Überschuss muss irgendwohin. Sprint Filters eigener Vergleich beziffert diese Bauweise mit 76,42 % Rückhaltung bei 100-Mikron-Partikeln, gegenüber 93,13 % bei diesem trockenen Gewebe. Das P08 löscht die gesamte Frage: Es ist fertig, sobald es trocken ist. Was es nicht tut, ist die Motorleistung zu verändern. Ein einsetzbares Filterelement macht eine Serien-SR-R 675 nicht spürbar schneller, und der ehrliche Nutzen ist ein Widerstand, der zu seinem Ausgangswert zurückkehrt.
Pflege und Reinigung
Zuerst Luft, und meist nur Luft: Halten Sie die Druckluftleitung an die saubere Seite des SM290S und treiben Sie die Beladung durch dieselbe Seite wieder hinaus, die sie gesammelt hat. Wasser ist für das da, was Luft nicht bewegt – handwarm, eine kleine Menge mildes Reinigungsmittel, dann gründlich spülen. Das Trocknen erfolgt an freier Luft bei Raumtemperatur und nie an einer Hitzequelle jeder Art. Das Element kehrt trocken und unbehandelt in das Gehäuse zurück. Passgenauigkeit & Kompatibilität
