Nach eigenen Angaben von Sprint Filter ist es der meistverwendete Luftfilter in der MotoGP, Moto3, Superbike-WM, Supersport und Superstock. Diesen Satz muss man mit Vorsicht behandeln, denn es handelt sich um die Aussage eines Herstellers zu seinen eigenen Produkten und nicht um eine unabhängige Messung. Die falschen Reaktionen wären, ihn als Beweis zu zitieren oder ihn als Marketing abzutun. Bei einer F4 von 2013 bis 2015 lohnt sich stattdessen der dritte Weg: das Ganze auseinanderzunehmen, um zu sehen, was er belegen kann und was nicht.

Was eine Aussage über Zulieferung trägt
Streng gelesen geht es in der Aussage um Stückzahlen: In diesen Fahrerlagern laufen mehr Maschinen mit dieser Marke als mit jeder anderen. Stückzahl ist nicht dasselbe wie Überlegenheit, und eine Aussage des Verkäufers trägt das Gewicht einer Aussage des Verkäufers. Bedeutung bekommt sie dort, wo es um das Fahrerlager als Kunde geht. Teams bestellen nach, was ihnen keine Probleme bereitet hat, und lassen fallen, was welche verursacht hat, Saison für Saison, ohne jede Loyalität. Ein Zulieferer, der dieses Geschäft über Jahre hält, hat eine niedrige Messlatte für Zuverlässigkeit viele Male genommen — eine bescheidene Schlussfolgerung, aber eine ehrliche.
Was nicht vom Startgitter auf ein Straßenmotorrad übergeht
Ein Rennmotorrad wird vor jeder Session vorbereitet und danach kontrolliert. Seine Luft stammt von einer gefegten Rennstrecke statt vom Februar-Arbeitsweg, und seine Airbox wird routinemäßig geöffnet. Das Renngewebe ist für dieses Regime ausgelegt. Nichts davon überträgt sich allein durch Assoziation auf eine straßenzugelassene F4, und das Gleiche gilt für die Leistung: Ein Einsatzfilter macht ein Serienmotorrad nicht spürbar schneller, egal wer sonst noch einen fährt. Was sich überträgt, ist der Fertigungsstandard — eine engere Behauptung, die sich tatsächlich überprüfen lässt, wenn man das Teil in der Hand hält.
Pflege und Reinigung
Druckluft ist die gesamte normale Wartung. Richten Sie sie auf die saubere Seite von R189S F1-85-SBK und arbeiten Sie nach außen, sodass die Ablagerung auf dem Weg verlässt, auf dem sie hereinkam, statt weiter hineingedrückt zu werden. Wirkt das Gewebe danach noch beladen, waschen Sie es in warmem Wasser mit mildem Spülmittel und spülen Sie, bis nichts mehr abgeht. Das Trocknen braucht Geduld und bewegte Luft und sonst nichts — kein Heißluftgebläse, kein Heizkörper, keine offene Flamme, denn Hitze zerstört Polyester, bevor sie es trocknet. Trocken wieder einsetzen, ohne jede Behandlung. Das Wartungsblatt finden Sie unter Downloads.
Passform & Kompatibilität
Gefertigt für die Airbox der MV Agusta F4 1000 der Jahre 2013 bis 2015. Auf der Passliste stehen acht Maschinen: die F4R und F4RR daneben, die F4RC und F4RC LH bis 2026, sowie die Brutale Oro, Brutale RR und Rush.
