Lesen Sie die Passform-Liste dieses Racing-Elements, und ein Eintrag fällt auf. Fünf der sieben Maschinen sind Superquadro-Sportler und -Naked-Bikes – Panigale 959, 1199 und 1299, Panigale V2 und Streetfighter V2 –, eine ist die Scrambler 1100. Die siebte ist die Multistrada V2, ein Reisemotorrad für Strecke, Gepäck und Sozius, dessen Fahrer selten lange Vollgas hält. Sie steht auf der Liste, weil ihre Airbox dasselbe Element nimmt, nicht weil eine V2 ein Racing-Gewebe braucht. Die meisten Besitzer brauchen es nicht.

Wo der zusätzliche Durchfluss abgerufen wird
Der dreifache Durchfluss des P08 klingt nach viel, und auf dem Papier ist er es. Abgerufen wird Durchflusskapazität aber nur, wenn der Motor sie verlangt: bei weit offenem Gas, hoch im Drehzahlband und dort gehalten. Eine Multistrada V2 auf Tour ist fast nie in diesem Zustand, und mit Koffern, Sozius oder Gegenwind noch seltener. Nichts an diesem Element macht einen Serien-Zweizylinder mit 937 cm³ stärker – kein Filter in einer unveränderten Airbox tut das. Es verändert, wie viel Ansaugkapazität ungenutzt bleibt, und an einem Reisemotorrad lautet die Antwort: das meiste.
Wann es doch Sinn ergibt
Es gibt Multistrada V2 auf Trackdays, und es gibt Besitzer, die mit Auspuff und Abstimmung am Motor arbeiten und damit verschieben, wo die Engstelle liegt. Für sie kann das Racing-Gewebe Teil eines Plans sein, und es verlangt die Disziplin, die dazugehört: Nach einem harten Turn kommt das Element heraus und wird gereinigt, nicht erst beim nächsten Service. Für alle anderen ist der Standard-P08, der deutlich weniger als die Hälfte kostet, der bessere Kauf für dieses Motorrad. Der Unterschied im Rückhalt bei 100 Mikron ist klein, der im Preis nicht.
Pflege und Reinigung
Reinigen Sie den PM127S F1-85 mit Druckluft von der sauberen Seite nach außen, damit der gesammelte Schmutz über die Fläche austritt, auf der er eintrat. Was sich so nicht löst, kommt in lauwarmem Wasser mit etwas mildem Spülmittel heraus, gespült bis das Wasser klar abläuft. Trocknen Sie ihn bei Raumtemperatur in bewegter Luft und nie in der Nähe von Heißluftpistole, Heizkörper oder Flamme, dann trocken und ohne jede Behandlung einbauen. Passform & Kompatibilität
Für die Ducati Multistrada V2 und V2 S von 2022 bis 2024 mit dem 937-cm³-Zweizylinder; die V2 ab 2025 mit 890-cm³-Motor braucht den PM279S F1-85. Insgesamt teilen sich sieben Maschinen diesen Code, der Reiter „Fitment“ nennt sie mit Baujahren.
