42 or 25 — which offset

Offset describes how far the grip sits ahead of the fork tube. 42 mm stretches you further forward and lower: more load on the front tyre, sharper turn-in feel, the choice for track riders who want the aggressive stance. 25 mm keeps the reach shorter and the wrists more comfortable over a full session. Neither is better — it depends on your build and how long you sit on the bike.

Track use
