Der Wert einer krummen Größe
Die meisten Lieferanten führen 40 und 45 und nichts dazwischen. Spark führt auch 42, und der Grund ist, dass Serienauspuffe sich nicht auf runde Zahlen beschränken. Eine Werksanlage, die 42 misst, ist nichts Ungewöhnliches, und sie exakt zu treffen ist einfacher, als sich an eine Größe anzupassen, die nur ungefähr passt.
Über ein 40er hülsen
Zweiundvierzig außen bei einem Millimeter Wand ergibt vierzig innen. Ein 40-mm-Rohr rutscht also direkt hinein — kein Aufweiten, kein Einziehen, kein Nacharbeiten.
Es ist die sauberste Steckverbindung in Sparks Programm und der Grund, ein Stück 42er im Regal zu haben, auch wenn das Projekt auf 40-mm-Rohr aufgebaut ist. Ein Artikel macht aus einer Stumpfnaht eine wartbare Verbindung.
Schelle oder Feder
Eine Steckverbindung will gehalten werden. Eine Bandschelle ist schneller; ein Federpaar ist das, was Spark an den eigenen Anlagen nutzt, weil eine gefederte Verbindung die Wärmebewegung zulässt, gegen die eine starre Schelle arbeitet. Spark verkauft Federn und Haken einzeln.
Federn und Haken
Spark führt die Federn, die eine Steckverbindung zusammenhalten, und die Haken, die dazu passen: MOLLA01 und MOLLA02 in zwei Längen, mit oder ohne Gummi, dazu SGATT068 oder SGATT037 als Haken. Zwei Federn je Verbindung, gegenüberliegend gesetzt, ist die Anordnung, die Spark an den eigenen Anlagen verwendet.
Zwei Millimeter Unterschied
Zwischen 40 und 42 liegen rund zehn Prozent mehr Durchflussfläche. Genug, um an einem Motor an seiner Grenze zu zählen, und zu wenig, um an einem anderen aufzufallen — deshalb ist 42 eine Größe, die man nach dem Messen bewusst wählt und nicht aus Gewohnheit greift.
Ein halber Meter
Ein 500-mm-Stück je Artikel. Für Hülsenarbeit brauchen Sie sehr wenig davon, eine einzelne Länge deckt also meist mehrere Verbindungen ab.
