Über die Schwinge
Ein hoch und hinten montierter Schalldämpfer verlangt, dass das Rohr steigt — und der Anstieg muss nach dem Schwingenlager beginnen und vor dem Federbein enden. Fünfundvierzig Grad ist der Standardzug: steil genug, um im verfügbaren Raum Höhe zu gewinnen, flach genug, dass der Schwenk am Lager noch vorbeigeht.
Der zweite Fünfundvierziger legt die Strecke auf Dämpferhöhe waagerecht. Zusammen sind sie der größte Teil einer Untersitz- oder Hochlegungsführung.
Schwenkradius bei sechzig
Der Mittellinienradius wächst mit dem Durchmesser, ein 60er Bogen braucht bei gleichem Winkel also spürbar mehr Raum als ein 40er. An einem Aufbau, bei dem das Rohr zwischen Schwinge und Rahmen hindurchgeht, ist dieser zusätzliche Schwenk meist die Einschränkung — und auf dem Papier leichter zu entdecken als mit der Säge.
Der Spark-Dämpferdurchmesser
Sechzig Millimeter ist der Eingang des Universal-Force-Evo G00SI23T, des Konix Evo G00SI25T, des Grid-O G00SI26T und der Megaphone-Gehäuse. Eine Strecke in dieser Größe kommt ohne Adapter am Spark-Dämpfer an — ein Teil und eine Verbindung weniger.
Umgang mit einem großen dünnen Bogen
Ein Millimeter Wand bei sechzig Millimetern dellt von einem heruntergefallenen Werkzeug und wird im Schraubstock unrund. Beim Schneiden über die Länge abstützen und nur an den geraden Enden spannen.
Richtig formieren
Eine gekrümmte Verbindung mit großer Bohrung braucht länger, um sich mit Argon zu füllen, als eine kleine gerade, und ein Bogen kann oben eine Lufttasche halten. Geben Sie ihr mehr Zeit, als sich richtig anfühlt — Oxidation im Bogeninneren lässt sich weder prüfen noch entfernen.
