Die Größe zwischen den Größen
Die meisten Lieferanten führen vierzig und fünfundvierzig. Serienauspuffe halten sich nicht daran, und ein Werksrohr mit zweiundvierzig Millimetern kommt oft genug vor, dass Spark die Größe im Programm hält.
Exakt treffen schlägt anpassen. Zwei Millimeter sind rund zehn Prozent Durchflussfläche, und es spart obendrein ein Übergangsstück.
Ein Bogen, der zugleich Hülse ist
Zweiundvierzig außen bei einem Millimeter Wand ergibt vierzig innen, ein 40-mm-Rohr schiebt sich also direkt in das Ende dieses Bogens. Damit wird die Verbindung zur Steckverbindung statt zur Stumpfnaht — ohne jede Nacharbeit.
Das ist eine nützliche Eigenschaft genau dieses Durchmessers und macht den Bogen auch dann regalwürdig, wenn das Projekt vollständig in vierzig gebaut ist.
Unrundheit am Übergang
Der Querschnitt ist genau dort am ehesten unrund, wo die Krümmung auf die Gerade trifft. Bei einem dorngeformten Bogen ist die Abweichung klein, aber es ist die Stelle, an der eine enge Steckverbindung klemmt.
Prüfen Sie das Ende mit dem Messschieber in zwei Achsen, bevor Sie annehmen, dass eine Hülse aufgeht.
In eine Hülse stecken
Geht dieser Bogen in etwas Größeres, brechen Sie die Außenkante des Schnitts. Eine scharfe Kante hakt beim Einführen und zieht in der Hülse einen Grat — und dieser Grat verhindert später, dass sich die Verbindung wieder trennen lässt.
Zwei Bögen, ein Versatz
Ein Paar 30°-Bögen, gegeneinander gesetzt und mit einem kurzen geraden Stück verbunden, verschiebt eine Strecke seitlich, ohne die Richtung zu ändern. Wie weit, hängt nur von der Länge dieses Stücks ab — die Standardantwort auf einen Schalldämpfer, der einen Zentimeter falsch sitzt.
