Das Ritzel ist die kosteneffizienteste Übersetzungsanpassung für einen Streckenfahrer. Eine Zahn-Änderung verändert die Gesamtübersetzung deutlich, und die Sitta-D001-Reihe macht diesen Abstimmungsprozess unkompliziert.
Kleinere Zahnzahlen (14 oder 15 Zähne) verkürzen die Gesamtübersetzung, schärfen die Beschleunigung aus langsamen und mittelschnellen Kurven und bringen den Motor schneller in sein Leistungsband — die bevorzugte Wahl für enge, technische Strecken.
Größere Zahnzahlen (16 oder 17 Zähne) verlängern die Übersetzung, senken die Spitzendrehzahl bei Tempo und verlängern den Durchzug im oberen Bereich. Das passt zu schnellen Strecken, langen Geraden oder Fahrern, die einen entspannteren Motorklang auf der Straße wollen, ohne auf reine Leistung zu verzichten.
