Brauner Schaft, cremeweiße Sohle, schwarze Senkel: In Braun/Weiß erinnert der Sidi Lynx Climadome eher an ein Modell aus dem Lifestyle-Laden als an Schutzausrüstung. Dahinter verbirgt sich dennoch ein zertifizierter Motorradschuh mit Climadome-Membran, die Sidi als wasserdicht und atmungsaktiv einstuft. Sie können also im Frühjahrsniesel zur Arbeit fahren und das Paar danach einfach den ganzen Tag anbehalten.
Wer möchte, dass die Fahrausrüstung in der Freizeitgarderobe aufgeht, findet hier die wärmere, lässigere Alternative zum ganz schwarzen Schuh.

Materialien und Verarbeitung
Für den Schaft nimmt Sidi 100 % Mikrofaser, das Futter ist aus 100 % Polyester. Mikrofaser ist ein Kunststoff: Auch wenn die braune Oberfläche an einen Arbeitsschuh aus Leder denken lässt, steckt in diesem Modell kein Leder. In der Sohle sind 95 % Gummi und 5 % Polyamid gemischt, die Partien rund um die kritischen Aufprallbereiche sind für mehr Haltbarkeit verstärkt. Hergestellt wird in China.
Verschluss und Sitz
Die Senkel laufen ein gutes Stück an der Vorderseite hinauf. Fest gezogen fixieren sie die Ferse, was laut Sidi das Rutschen des Fußes im Schuh bei einem Sturz begrenzt. Die verlängerte, anatomische Form liegt eng am Fuß an und gibt dem Knöchelbereich mehr Stabilität. In dieser Farbe reichen die Größen von EU 36 bis EU 50, für Frauen wie Männer. Angaben zur Weite oder Größenberatung macht Sidi nicht.
Aufprallschutz
Für die Sicherheit in diesem Sneaker sorgen drei Dinge. Fortex, ein Patent von Sidi, ist eine Struktur, die Sturzkräften standhalten und den Fuß beweglich lassen soll. Hinzu kommen CE-zertifizierte Protektoren. Verstärkte Partien schützen die empfindlichen Stellen vor Schlägen und Abrieb. Zusammen erfüllt der Schuh die EN 13634:2017. Eine Aufschlüsselung in Stufen liefert der Hersteller nicht, deshalb auch wir nicht.
Regen und Jahreszeiten
Climadome ist Sidis eigene Membran. Nach Herstellerangabe hält sie die Füße trocken und lässt Wärme und Feuchtigkeit nach außen, beworben wird der Lynx Climadome als Schuh für alle Jahreszeiten. Gerade bei einem braun-weißen Paar, das oft auch abseits des Motorrads getragen wird, ist das praktisch: Ein plötzlicher Schauer auf dem Heimweg muss keine nassen Socken bedeuten, solange kein Wasser von oben in den Schaft läuft.
Im Alltag
Unten arbeitet die Concrecto-Sohle. Sie ist darauf ausgelegt, Rasten und Hebel sicher zu greifen, und knickt beim Gehen trotzdem wie ein gewöhnlicher Freizeitschuh. Sidi versteht den Lynx Climadome als Begleiter für Pendelstrecken, Stadterkundungen und die Freizeit; als Renn- oder Geländeprodukt ist er nicht konstruiert.
Was Sie wissen sollten
Als knöchelhoher Schuh lässt er das Schienbein frei und deckt weniger ab als ein Touren- oder Sportstiefel. Die Wasserdichtigkeit beruht auf der Membran; Wasser, das über den Schaftrand hineinläuft, hält sie nicht auf. Tragen Sie die Regenhose deshalb über dem Schuh. Weder ein Gewicht noch Leistungsstufen zur CE-Zertifizierung gibt Sidi für dieses Modell an. Die cremeweiße Sohle zeigt Abnutzung und Schmutz am schnellsten.
Farbe
Das Braun ist ein mittlerer, leicht rötlicher Ton, nah an Milchschokolade, mit hellbraunen Kontrastnähten, die jedes Paneel nachzeichnen. Schwarze Senkel, eine schwarze Zuglasche an der Ferse und ein dunkles Schaftfutter setzen Akzente, die kräftige Cupsole ist cremefarben statt reinweiß. Der Schuh passt selbstverständlich zu Denim, Oliv oder Marineblau und wirkt im Café ebenso stimmig wie auf dem Motorradparkplatz. Die helle Sohle nimmt Straßenschmutz rasch an, regelmäßiges Reinigen hält sie frisch. Braun ist keine Signalfarbe, reflektierende Details erwähnt Sidi nicht.
