Mit dieser Knöchelabdeckung erhält Ihr Sidi MAG-1 das Originalteil zurück, das auf der Sidi-Ersatzteiltafel unter Position 144 geführt wird. Die Schale aus Hartkunststoff liegt außen über dem Knöchelbereich, schirmt das Gelenk ab und gibt dem Stiefel nach einem Rutscher oder einem harten Kontakt wieder seine saubere Seitenlinie.

Aufgabe der Abdeckung
Stürzt man auf der Straße oder auf der Rennstrecke, berührt die Außenseite des Knöchels den Asphalt meist zuerst. Genau dort fängt diese Schale Reibung und Schlag ab, damit die darunterliegenden Teile geschont bleiben. Ist sie angeschliffen, gerissen oder verloren gegangen, entspricht der Stiefel nicht mehr dem Zustand, den Sidi vorsieht. Der Tausch dieses einen Teils ist dann deutlich vernünftiger, als ein ansonsten intaktes Paar auszusortieren.
Montage und Zuordnung
Sidi führt die Abdeckung ausschließlich für den MAG-1. Es gibt nur eine Universalversion, eine Größe müssen Sie also nicht auswählen. Gleichen Sie vor der Bestellung die Position 144 auf der Sidi-Tafel mit Ihrem Stiefel ab. Wer sich bei der Befestigung unsicher ist, lässt den Wechsel am besten beim Sidi-Händler erledigen.

Der Artikelname nennt nur den MAG-1; für andere Sidi-Modelle sollten Sie das Teil daher nicht einplanen. Eine Farbe steht im Sidi-Namen nicht. Vergleichen Sie bitte das Produktfoto mit dem Knöchelbereich Ihres Stiefels.
