Beschlagen ist genau das Sichtproblem, das sich verschlimmert, wenn man am wenigsten damit rechnen kann – kalte Morgen, Regen, Stop-and-go-Verkehr. Ein PINLOCK-EVO-Einsatz ist die wirksamste Antwort darauf, und zwar eine mechanische Lösung, keine Beschichtung, die sich abnutzt.
So funktioniert es
Der Einsatz sitzt innen im Visier, gehalten von zwei exzentrischen Stiften, und eine Silikonlippe an seinem Rand dichtet ihn gegen die Visieroberfläche ab. So entsteht eine dünne, isolierende Luftschicht zwischen den beiden Scheiben. Da die innere Scheibe nie so kalt wird wie die äußere, hat die warme, feuchte Atemluft nichts Kaltes, an dem sie kondensieren könnte. Es ist dasselbe Prinzip wie bei einer Doppelverglasung – und es wirkt innerhalb von Sekunden, ganz ohne Aufwärmphase.
Einbau
Nehmen Sie das Visier vom Helm ab, biegen Sie es ganz leicht durch und setzen Sie den Einsatz auf die Stifte – die Silikondichtung übernimmt den Rest. Eine Einbauanleitung liegt bei. Wenn sich Kondenswasser zwischen den Scheiben bildet, sitzt die Dichtung nicht richtig: Einsatz herausnehmen, beide Flächen reinigen und erneut einsetzen.

Pflege
Die innere Anti-Beschlag-Oberfläche ist empfindlicher als das Visier selbst. Mit lauwarmem Wasser abspülen und trocknen lassen oder vorsichtig abtupfen – nicht mit einem Tuch trockenreiben und keine lösungsmittelhaltigen Reiniger verwenden, beides beschädigt die Beschichtung. Bei richtiger Pflege hält der Einsatz so lange wie das Visier.
