Das EYELIGHTS Visier-Head-up-Display- und Premium-Kommunikationssystem ist das weltweit erste HUD, das so konstruiert wurde, dass es sich nahtlos und vollständig in einen Serien-Motorradhelm integrieren lässt. Es projiziert genau die Informationen, die wirklich gebraucht werden, direkt ins Sichtfeld, verbindet mit einer unbegrenzten Anzahl von Mitfahrern und liefert echten, kraftvollen Sound – und das alles aus einem System, das vollständig in der Schale des GT-Air3 SMART verschwindet.
Den Blick auf der Straße
Sobald ein Android- oder iOS-Smartphone gekoppelt ist, projiziert das System Geschwindigkeit, GPS-Navigation, eingehende Anrufe und die aktuelle Musikwiedergabe in die integrierte Sonnenblende des Helms. Das Bild scheint dabei rund drei Meter vor dem Fahrer zu schweben, sodass die Augen auf Straßenentfernung fokussiert bleiben, statt sich auf einen nahen Bildschirm neu einzustellen. Die für den Betrieb des HUD erforderliche EYELIGHTS-App ermöglicht es, die Projektion zu positionieren und genau festzulegen, welche Informationen angezeigt werden.

Klar erkennbar bei Tageslicht und Dunkelheit
Das extrem helle Nano-OLED-Display liefert 5.000 Nit und projiziert in Full-HD-Qualität an eine frei wählbare Stelle innerhalb eines definierten Bereichs der QSV-Sonnenblende, die eigens für den GT-Air3 SMART mit ihrer speziellen Projektionsbeschichtung entwickelt wurde. Die Sonnenblende muss dabei nicht vollständig ausgefahren sein, um das HUD zu nutzen. Diese Helligkeit macht das System bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung ebenso nutzbar wie bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen oder völliger Dunkelheit.
Unbegrenzte Reichweite, uneingeschränkte Konnektivität
Das integrierte Premium-Kommunikationsmodul liefert kraftvollen Sound, verfügt über ein Mikrofon mit aktiver Geräuschunterdrückung und unterstützt sowohl Siri als auch den Google Assistant. Mit einem Online- und einem Offline-Mesh-Modus bietet es unbegrenzte Reichweite für eine unbegrenzte Anzahl verbundener Fahrer sowie Kompatibilität mit allen gängigen Kommunikationssystemen bei einer Nutzungsdauer von bis zu zehn Stunden.
Systemkomponenten
Hierbei handelt es sich nicht um eine einzelne, nachträglich angeschraubte Box. Das EYELIGHTS-System besteht aus mehreren eigens dafür entwickelten Komponenten, die in die vorbereiteten Aussparungen und Kabelkanäle des GT-Air3 SMART eingesetzt werden, sodass nichts hervorsteht und nichts improvisiert wirkt:
- Optisches Modul – die Nano-OLED-Projektionseinheit, die das Bild in die Sonnenblende einspielt
- Akkupack – schlank, am hinteren Bereich der Schale positioniert
- Premium-Lautsprecher – ein Stereopaar, das in den Ohraussparungen des Helms sitzt
- Premium-Mikrofon – mit aktiver Geräuschunterdrückung für klare Sprachqualität auch bei hohem Tempo
- Antenne – flach in der Schale verlegt für optimale Mesh-Reichweite
- Seitliche Bedienelemente – auch mit Handschuhen bedienbar, ohne die Hand lange vom Lenker nehmen zu müssen
Passform und Kompatibilität
Dieses System wurde ausschließlich für den Shoei GT-Air3 SMART entwickelt. Es wird über die Aussparungen im Ohrenbereich und die vorverlegten Kabelkanäle dieses Helms in die SHOEI-COMLINK-Schnittstelle eingesetzt und setzt auf die beschichtete QSV-Sonnenblende, die exklusiv der SMART-Variante vorbehalten ist. Es ist nicht mit dem Standard-GT-Air3 oder einem anderen Shoei-Modell kompatibel. Der Helm muss separat erworben werden.
