Direkt aus dem WSBK-Meisterschaftsprogramm von SC-Project abgeleitet, ist der S1 Slip-On-Silencer für die Kawasaki ZX-10 R/RR (2016-2020) eine Studie in Präzisionstechnik. Jede Komponente — vom WIG-geschweißten Titan-Kanister bis zu den CNC-gefertigten Titanbuchsen — spiegelt die kompromisslosen Fertigungsstandards wider, die SC-Project zu einer festen Größe auf den anspruchsvollsten Rennstrecken der Welt gemacht haben. Das Ergebnis ist ein straßenzugelassenes Auspuff-Upgrade, das echte, messbare Leistungssteigerungen liefert, ohne bei der Verarbeitung Kompromisse einzugehen, wie man sie von einem italienischen Premiumhersteller erwartet.

Konstruktion und Materialien
Die Materialwahl von SC-Project bei der S1 ist bewusst und kompromisslos. Der Hauptkörper wird aus Titan in Luft- und Raumfahrtqualität gedrückt und geformt — gewählt wegen seines außergewöhnlichen Verhältnisses von Festigkeit zu Gewicht und seiner natürlichen Hitzebeständigkeit. Anders als Edelstahl-Alternativen entwickelt Titan mit der Zeit eine charakteristische Anlassfarben-Patina, die jedem Silencer einen ganz eigenen Charakter verleiht.
Die Carbonfaser-Endkappe ist nicht nur Dekoration. Sie enthält eine spezielle schalldämmende Schicht, die sowohl die Wärmeabgabe als auch die Geräuschcharakteristik steuert, sodass der Silencer näher am Motor betrieben werden kann, ohne umliegende Bauteile zu gefährden. Alle Titanverbindungen werden von Hand im WIG-Verfahren geschweißt, und zwar auf einem Niveau, das die Schweißnähte zu einem Designmerkmal statt zu einem Makel macht. Die CNC-gefertigten Buchsen sorgen dafür, dass die Einheit ohne Unterlegen oder Anpassung exakt an den originalen Befestigungspunkten sitzt.
Leistung
Die interne Geometrie der S1 basiert auf den WSBK-Daten von SC-Project. An der Kawasaki ZX-10 R/RR liefert die Einheit eine gemessene Leistungssteigerung von +1,4 PS bei 10.000 U/min und +1,1 Nm Drehmoment bei 10.500 U/min, was sowohl das Ansprechverhalten als auch den Durchzug im oberen Drehzahlbereich verbessert. Das im System enthaltene Titan-Verbindungsrohr optimiert die Abgasströmung über den gesamten Drehzahlbereich, statt die Gewinne auf einen einzelnen Punkt zu konzentrieren — das Ergebnis ist eine breitere, praxisgerechtere Leistungsentfaltung, sowohl auf der Straße als auch auf der Rennstrecke.
Die Gewichtsreduzierung von 1,0 kg senkt den Schwerpunkt und verringert die ungefederte Rotationsträgheit, wodurch sich die ZX-10 R/RR bei Richtungswechseln spürbar agiler anfühlt. In Kombination mit der Leistungssteigerung ist der Effekt auf einer schnellen Landstraße oder bei einem Trackday sofort spürbar.
Klangcharakter
Mit montiertem dB-Killer erzeugt die S1 einen tiefen, ausgewogenen Klang, der sportlich ist, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken — konform mit den EURO-4-Vorschriften und bestens für den täglichen Straßeneinsatz geeignet. Für Trackdays lässt sich der dB-Killer entfernen, wodurch sich das volle akustische Spektrum des Titan-Kanisters entfaltet: ein satter, resonanter Racing-Sound, der Hubraum und Charakter des Reihenvierzylinders der ZX-10 R/RR authentisch widerspiegelt.
