Leistung und Verarbeitungsqualität
SC-Project entwickelte den GP70-R direkt auf Basis seines MotoGP-Programms. Die retro-inspirierte Endtopfform beherbergt einen durchgängigen Renn-Kern, und der Auslassdurchmesser von Ø70 mm ist auf die tiefe, aggressive Klangsignatur abgestimmt, die zum Markenzeichen von SC-Project auf der Weltbühne geworden ist. Die Reduzierung von 6,2 kg am Heck der Maschine schärft das Handling spürbar und reduziert die ungefederte Masse — eine verbesserte Gasannahme ist bereits bei der ersten Fahrt zu spüren.

Passform und Kompatibilität
Dieses Kit ist ausschließlich für die Yamaha YZF-R1 und YZF-R1M der RN65-Fahrgestellgeneration konzipiert und deckt die Modelljahre 2020 bis 2026 ab. Es ist nicht straßenzugelassen und ausschließlich für den Einsatz auf geschlossenen Rennstrecken vorgesehen. Der Lambdasonden-Stutzen bleibt für die ECU-Kompatibilität erhalten, und die Befestigungspunkte sind vollständig kompatibel mit den serienmäßigen Beifahrer-Fußrastenhalterungen, sodass keine zusätzlichen Änderungen am Heckrahmen für die Montage erforderlich sind.
