Der SC-Project GP-22 ist keine Interpretation der MotoGP-Technologie – es ist exakt jene Auspuffanlage, mit der Aleix Espargarò und Maverick Viñales während der MotoGP-Weltmeisterschaft 2022 auf der Aprilia RS-GP gefahren sind, jetzt verfügbar für die RSV4 1100 Factory. In direkter Zusammenarbeit mit dem Aprilia-MotoGP-Werksteam entwickelt und in Italien von Hand aus einer speziellen Titanlegierung gefertigt, ist dies die leichteste und exklusivste Rennauspuffanlage, die SC-Project je für ein Serienmotorrad produziert hat.

Von der MotoGP abgeleitete Konstruktion
Jeder GP-22 wird von denselben SC-Project-Technikern gefertigt, die auch die Rennauspuffanlagen für das MotoGP-Programm von Aprilia bauen. Die Wahl einer speziellen Titanlegierung ist kein Zufall: Das Material bietet ein außergewöhnliches Verhältnis von Festigkeit zu Gewicht sowie hervorragende Hitzebeständigkeit bei den extremen Abgastemperaturen, die der V4-Motor der RSV4 1100 bei Volllast erzeugt. Alle Verbindungen sind handgeschweißt für eine präzise Passform und gasdichte Verbindungen – bei diesem Fertigungsprozess gibt es keine Fließband-Abkürzungen.
Das Ergebnis ist ein Slip-On-Schalldämpfer, der nur 500 Gramm wiegt. Bei einem Motorrad, das ohnehin mit chirurgischer Präzision handhabbar ist, schärft die Entfernung von über fünf Kilogramm an einer hohen, weit hinten liegenden Masseposition das Einlenkverhalten, reduziert die Effekte der ungefederten und rotierenden Masse und verleiht dem Fahrer einen spürbar agileren, direkteren Charakter – genau das, was ein Trackday oder Clubsport-Umfeld verlangt.
