Der SC-Project CR-T ist der ikonischste und meistverkaufte Racing-Slip-On-Schalldämpfer im SC-Project-Sortiment — ein direkter Nachfahre der Auspufftechnologie, die für die MotoGP- und Moto2-Weltmeisterschaft entwickelt wurde. Für Fahrer der Yamaha YZF-R1 und R1M auf Basis der RN49-Plattform bringt er einen echten Schub bei Sound, Charakter und Leistung im oberen Drehzahlbereich, ohne die Straßenzulassung zu opfern — und lässt sich ohne jegliches ECU-Remapping direkt montieren.

Alltagstauglichkeit — der eigentliche Grund für den CR-T
Anders als rein rennstreckenorientierte Auspuffanlagen, die ein Remapping, Änderungen am Kraftstoffsystem oder das Risiko nicht homologierter Teile im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr erfordern, ist der CR-T für Fahrer konzipiert, die jeden Tag das Beste aus beiden Welten wollen. Die Euro-4-konforme Homologation bedeutet, dass Versicherung, TÜV/HU und Straßenzulassung nie ein Thema sind. Die Montage erfolgt an der Slip-On-Verbindung ohne Spezialwerkzeug — anschrauben, das Verbindungsrohr an den Serienkatalysator anschließen und losfahren.
Das Titan-Verbindungsrohr ist keine Randnotiz. Es optimiert den Abgasfluss zwischen den Original-Krümmern und dem neuen Endtopf, und genau daher stammen die gemessenen Leistungs- und Drehmomentzuwächse. Die CNC-gefrästen Titan-Buchsen sorgen dafür, dass der Schalldämpfer jedes Mal perfekt fluchtet, und verhindern das Klappern und die Mikrobewegungen, die minderwertige Nachrüstlösungen mit der Zeit plagen können.
Verarbeitungsqualität und Materialien
SC-Project fertigt den CR-T in Italien mit denselben Verfahren, die auch die MotoGP-Kundenteams beliefern. Die Endkappe des Endtopfs besteht aus Titan — gewählt wegen der Kombination aus geringem Gewicht, Hitzebeständigkeit und der charakteristischen blau-goldenen Anlauffarbe, die sich mit der Nutzung entwickelt. Die hitzebeständige akustische Dämmung im Inneren des Endtopfs ist auf den unverwechselbaren, tiefen und rohen Racing-Sound des CR-T abgestimmt und hält den Schallpegel bei montiertem dB-Killer innerhalb der straßenzulässigen Grenzen. Alle Halterungen und tragenden Verbindungen sind TIG-geschweißt für Festigkeit und Korrosionsbeständigkeit. Ein optionales Flammengitter aus Titan als Endstück ist separat erhältlich für Fahrer, die ein noch markanteres optisches Finish wünschen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Dieser Schalldämpfer wurde speziell für die Yamaha YZF-R1 und YZF-R1M mit RN49-Rahmen entwickelt (Modelljahre 2017, 2018 und 2019). Er ist mit allen Euro-4-Versionen dieser Modelle kompatibel. Das im Kit enthaltene Titan-Verbindungsrohr schließt an den Serienkatalysator an, sodass kein zusätzliches Mittelrohr oder Sammler benötigt wird. Für den Straßeneinsatz sind kein ECU-Remapping und keine Anpassung der Kraftstoffzufuhr erforderlich.
