Ein spezieller UV-Inhibitor ist in das Material eingearbeitet und schützt vor der Sonneneinstrahlung, die günstigere Windschilder vergilben, rissig werden oder trüb erscheinen lässt. Das verstellbare Visier
Anders als ein festes Touring-Windschild wird dieses Windschild von Puig mit einem variablen oberen Visier geliefert, das sich verstellen lässt, um den über den Helm des Fahrers geleiteten Luftstrom fein abzustimmen. Das Visier wird über Schrauben in vorgebohrten Löchern am Hauptwindschild befestigt – zusätzliches Zuschneiden ist nicht erforderlich.
