Der Puig Roadster Windschild ist für Fahrer konzipiert, die lange Stunden im Sattel verbringen, und sorgt bei der Triumph America für spürbare Windentlastung, ohne den rohen Custom-Charakter zu verwässern, der das Bike ausmacht. Die sorgfältig proportionierte 290 mm × 260 mm große Acrylscheibe nimmt der Autobahnfahrt die Ermüdung, bleibt dabei aber niedrig genug, um die offene, rebellische Haltung des Cruisers zu bewahren.

Gebaut für lange Strecken
Puig hat den Roadster-Windschild konsequent für ganztägiges Fahren entwickelt. Die Halbverkleidungsform ist nicht nur Dekoration – sie schafft einen wirksamen Druckpuffer, der den Oberkörper des Fahrers bei konstanter Autobahnfahrt von der Windlast entlastet und mehrstündige Fahrten spürbar weniger anstrengend macht. Das abgerundete Profil vermeidet die scharfen Kanten günstigerer Nachrüstscheiben, sodass es keine Verhakpunkte für Kleidung gibt und im Falle eines Sturzes keine zusätzlichen Sicherheitsrisiken entstehen.
Mit nur 1.120 g fügt der Windschild kaum ungefederte Masse hinzu, und die Acrylscheibe behält ihre Transparenz und Form über einen weiten Temperaturbereich hinweg. Verchromte Stahlbefestigungen sind korrosionsbeständig und bleiben glänzend – mehr als ein gelegentliches Abwischen ist nicht nötig.
