Design, Finish und Tradition
Puig hat sich einen Namen mit passgenauen, modellspezifischen Verkleidungserweiterungen gemacht – statt generischer Einheitslösungen –, und dieses Teil setzt diese Tradition für Naked Bikes, Streetfighter und Adventure-Modelle gleichermaßen fort. Das schwarze ABS-Finish ist auf den Farbton des serienmäßigen Kotflügels der MT-07 Pure abgestimmt, sodass die Verlängerung wie ein werkseitiges Upgrade wirkt und nicht wie ein Nachrüstteil. Praktischer Schutz, wo er zählt
Als Kotflügelverlängerung hat das Teil eine einfache, aber wichtige Aufgabe: Wasser, Schlamm und Steine, die vom Vorderreifen aufgewirbelt werden, von Motor, Kühler und unterer Verkleidung sowie von den Stiefeln des Fahrers fernzuhalten. Es wirkt als wirksamer Spritzschutz vorn und verringert den Schmutz, der sonst die Unterseite von Motor und Kühler erreichen würde – ein nützlicher zusätzlicher Motor- und Kühlerschutz auf einem Motorrad, das im Frontbereich sonst nur minimale Abdeckung bietet.
