Design und Verarbeitung
Anstatt sichtbar ein Zubehörteil anzuschrauben, hat Puig diese Kotflügelverlängerung hinten so geformt, dass sie bündig mit dem vorhandenen Heckkotflügel der Vitpilen abschließt und der kantigen, offenen Rahmenoptik des Bikes folgt. Die mattschwarze ABS-Oberfläche entspricht der Werksfarbgebung, sodass die Verlängerung wie ein integrierter Teil des Designs wirkt und nicht wie ein aufgesetzter Spritzschutz.
Passform und Montage
Die Verlängerung wird direkt über dem Original-Kotflügel montiert und mit den von Puig mitgelieferten Schrauben gesichert. Für die Montage müssen Löcher in den Original-Kotflügel gebohrt werden, weshalb dies am besten von jemandem durchgeführt wird, der mit leichten Karosseriearbeiten vertraut ist.
