Das spanische Design-Erbe von Puig zeigt sich in jeder Linie dieser Kotflügelverlängerung hinten für die Honda CB650F, ein kompaktes Unterheck-Kotflügelteil in mattschwarzer Ausführung, das bündig mit der Serienverkleidung abschließt, statt wie ein nachträglich angeschraubtes Teil zu wirken. Genau das ist das Detail, das ein durchdacht ausgestattetes Motorrad von einem unterscheidet, das einfach nur hart gefahren wurde.

Gezielt entwickelter Schutz, kein nachträglicher Einfall
Diese Kotflügelverlängerung hinten ist kein generischer, zurechtgeschnittener Schmutzfänger – sie wurde speziell für das Heck der CB650F konstruiert und erweitert die Abdeckung des Original-Kotflügels, um Spritzwasser, Splitt und Schmutz zu reduzieren, die auf Federbein, Schwinge und Heckunterseite geschleudert werden. Die ABS-Konstruktion von Puig übersteht Steinschlag und Straßenschmutz, ohne zu reißen oder zu verblassen, sodass der Unterheck-Kotflügel-Look Fahrt für Fahrt scharf bleibt.
Montage
Die Verlängerung wird mit den von Puig mitgelieferten Schrauben über dem vorhandenen hinteren Kotflügel montiert. Für die Montage müssen Löcher in den Original-Kotflügel gebohrt werden, weshalb ausreichend Zeit für die Arbeit eingeplant werden sollte. Puig stellt außerdem eine herunterladbare Montageanleitung mit Tipps für eine unkomplizierte Installation bereit.
