Diese Kotflügelverlängerung wird aus ABS-Kunststoff gefertigt, gewählt wegen seiner Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen Steinschlag und allgemeine Straßenbelastung. Als Kotflügelverlängerung wirkt sie als Spritzschutz und schützt die Unterseite von Motor und Kühler vor der Gischt, die Ihr Vorderrad bei Nässe oder auf Schotter aufwirbelt. Mit nur 46 g fügt sie kaum Gewicht hinzu und verbessert dennoch spürbar den Schutz im Alltag.

Puig legt Kunststoffnieten bei, mit denen die Verlängerung direkt und dauerhaft am Original-Kotflügel Ihres Motorrads montiert wird. Am OEM-Teil sind keinerlei Änderungen nötig, und die Montage folgt dem Standard-Montageverfahren, das Puig für Kotflügelverlängerungen in der gesamten Produktpalette verwendet.
