Mit 323 mm Höhe ist es die größere der beiden High-Road Varianten von Puig, ausgelegt auf maximale Ablenkung der Frontluft – der aerodynamische Druck auf den Fahrer sinkt um bis zu 47 % –, während es sich mit werksnah wirkenden Linien in die Halbverkleidungssilhouette der Road Glide einfügt.

Design, Verarbeitung und Tradition
Puig fertigt seit 1964 Windschilder in Barcelona, und die High-Road Reihe spiegelt Jahrzehnte kontinuierlicher Weiterentwicklung wider. Die Wölbung des Windschilds ist kein nachträglicher Einfall – sie entsteht direkt aus numerischer Strömungssimulation und physischer Validierung im Windkanal. Das Ergebnis ist ein Profil, das näher am Fahrer sitzt als eine herkömmliche flache Scheibe und die Luft nach oben und darüber leitet, statt turbulenten Luftstrom ins Cockpit strömen zu lassen. Die High-Road Touring Variante erreicht bis zu 47 % weniger aerodynamischen Druck im Vergleich zur Fahrt ohne Windschild – ein Wert, den Puig direkt auf die durchdachte Neigung des Windschilds zurückführt, die den frontalen Luftstrom umleitet, bevor er den Fahrer trifft. Diese Druckreduzierung bedeutet weniger körperliche Ermüdung, weniger Helmgeräusche und mehr Stabilität bei Autobahngeschwindigkeit. Fahrer, die eine niedrigere Bauform bevorzugen, können zum High-Road Sport mit 223 mm greifen, wobei für die Passform der Road Glide ST FLTRXST nur die Touring-Version gelistet ist.
