Die konturierte Geometrie der Scheibe ist kein bloßes ästhetisches Beiwerk – sie wurde so geformt, dass der Luftstrom sauber um das Cockpit geleitet wird und Verwirbelungen reduziert werden, ohne die ehrlichen, retro geprägten Proportionen der SR400 zu verändern. Mit 612 g ist die Scheibe leicht genug, um das Fahrverhalten nicht spürbar zu beeinflussen, während die Hülle aus thermoplastischem Polymer den kleinen Stößen und Vibrationen standhält, die sich im täglichen Fahrbetrieb ansammeln.
