Nur wenige Upgrades signalisieren die Rennsport-Abstammung eines Superbikes so deutlich wie ein Satz OZ GP Replica GP-8R Felgen. Entstanden aus dem traditionsreichen Grand-Prix-Erbe von OZ Racing und in Schmiedealuminium ausgeführt, bringt dieser Felgensatz echte Rennstrecken-Ästhetik und reduzierte rotierende Masse an die Kawasaki ZX-10R (2011–2015) — eine Maschine, die bereits für die Rennstrecke gezüchtet wurde und nun das passende Rollmaterial für ihren Anspruch erhält.

Design, Finish und Erbe
Die GP-8R ist keine gewöhnliche Aftermarket-Felge — sie trägt das Erbe jahrzehntelanger Grand-Prix-Erfahrung von OZ Racing in sich. Die Multispeichen-Architektur ist direkt der Formensprache von Felgen entlehnt, die bei Läufen der Weltmeisterschaft eingesetzt wurden, und jede Speichenlinie, jedes Felgenprofil und jede Oberflächenveredelung spiegelt diesen Ursprung wider. Auf einer Kawasaki ZX-10R — einem Superbike mit echter WSBK-Abstammung — ist dieses Erbe genau am richtigen Platz.
Jedes Finish entsteht in einem Eloxalverfahren statt durch eine Lackschicht, das heißt, die Farbe ist fester Bestandteil der Aluminiumoberfläche selbst. Das Ergebnis ist eine Tiefe und Langlebigkeit, die lackierte Felgen schlicht nicht erreichen können: Techno Black wirkt zweckmäßig und dezent; Gloss Black klassisch und scharf konturiert; Techno Gold und Gloss Gold unverhohlen rennsportlich inspiriert; Titanium edel und unverwechselbar. Performance auf Straße und Rennstrecke
Die ZX-10R der Baujahre 2011 bis 2015 ist ein fokussiertes, kompromissloses Superbike — und der GP-8R Felgensatz passt exakt zu diesem Charakter. Schmiedealuminium ist von Natur aus steifer und leichter als gegossene Alternativen, und diese Reduzierung der rotierenden, ungefederten Masse zahlt sich auf mehrere messbare Arten aus: Die Ninja lenkt mit weniger Kraftaufwand ein, hält ihre Linie präziser und wechselt mit einer Direktheit von Kurve zu Kurve, die sofort spürbar wird.
Bei starkem Bremsen sorgt die geringere Rotationsträgheit dafür, dass das Vorderrad knackiger auf den Bremsimpuls reagiert. Beim Beschleunigen aus dem Scheitelpunkt heraus erlaubt die reduzierte Hinterradmasse dem Drehmoment des Antriebsstrangs, Geschwindigkeit aufzubauen, statt gegen Rotationswiderstand anzukämpfen. Für den Trackday-Einsatz sind das spürbare Gewinne; im Straßenbetrieb übersetzen sie sich in ein aufmerksameres, kommunikativeres Fahrerlebnis auf schnellen Landstraßen ebenso wie auf Bergpässen.
