Entstanden aus dem WorldSBK-Rennsport und für die Straße konstruiert, bringt der OZ Gass RS-A Radsatz italienische Schmiedekunst in Aluminium zur Yamaha YZF-R1 und R1M. Jede Speiche, jedes Felgenprofil und jede Oberflächenveredelung ist das Ergebnis von OZ Racings jahrzehntelanger Erfahrung in der Motorsportfertigung — ein Radsatz, der ungefederte und rotierende Masse reduziert, ohne die strukturelle Integrität zu beeinträchtigen, die eine der leistungsstärksten Supersportmaschinen am Markt verlangt.

Italienische Fertigung und Verarbeitungsqualität
Die Gass RS-A Räder von OZ sind keine umgelabelten Zubehörteile — sie werden in Italien in denselben Fertigungsstätten produziert, die auch Räder für World-Superbike-, MotoGP- und Formel-Eins-Programme liefern. Der Schmiedeprozess richtet die Kornstruktur des Aluminiums für maximale Ermüdungsfestigkeit aus, sodass die Räder die Belastungen wiederholter harter Bremszonen und aggressiver Bordsteinkontakte bei Trackdays verkraften, während sie gleichzeitig die feine Oberfläche behalten, die man von einer Premium-Straßenmaschine erwartet.
Die eloxierte Oberflächenbehandlung geht über die reine Optik hinaus. Im Gegensatz zu Lack oder Pulverbeschichtung wird die Eloxierung Teil des Aluminiums selbst und widersteht Absplitterungen, Kratzern sowie alkalischen Rückständen, die von Reifenwärmern oder Streckenreinigungsmitteln hinterlassen werden. Jede der vier Farboptionen behält die gleiche Maßhaltigkeit — es gibt keine Abweichungen bei Wandstärke oder Wuchtung zwischen den Oberflächen.
Leistung auf Straße und Rennstrecke
Die Reduzierung der rotierenden Masse ist eine der wirkungsvollsten Methoden, das Fahrgefühl eines Motorrads zu verändern. Mit leichteren Rädern reagiert die Yamaha YZF-R1/M schneller auf Gasbefehle, benötigt weniger Kraftaufwand für Richtungswechsel in Schräglage und baut beim Bremsen entschlossener Geschwindigkeit ab. Das Gass RS-A Set ist so konzipiert, dass es sich bei einer sonntäglichen Ausfahrt ebenso zu Hause fühlt wie bei einem kompletten Trackday — sodass Sie nicht mehr für unterschiedliche Einsatzzwecke separate Radsätze benötigen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Dieser Radsatz ist speziell für die Yamaha YZF-R1 und YZF-R1M über die folgenden Modellgenerationen konstruiert:
- RN32 — Modelljahre 2015 und 2016
- RN49 — Modelljahre 2017 bis 2020
- RN65 — Modelljahre 2021 bis 2026
Die Räder sind maßlich kompatibel mit den originalen Yamaha-Felgen. Der mitgelieferte Kettenradträger ist erforderlich, da der serienmäßige Yamaha-Kettenradträger nicht mit dem Hinterrad des Gass RS-A kompatibel ist.
