Es ist das leichteste Rad im gesamten OZ-Programm, und jedes eingesparte Gramm an rotierender Masse bedeutet schärferes Einlenken, schnellere Richtungswechsel und präzisere Kurvenfahrt auf der Rennstrecke.

Design, Oberfläche und Herkunft
Der Name Cattiva trägt echte Rennsport-Historie. OZ entwickelte das Radprofil über die SBK Racing-Abteilung – dieselbe Abteilung, die Werks- und Satellitenteams auf höchstem Superbike-Niveau unterstützt – und die Sechsspeichen-Konstruktion spiegelt diesen Ursprung wider. Die Speichengeometrie ist keine Zierde, sondern das Ergebnis von Lastpfad-Engineering aus dem Renneinsatz. Die drei verfügbaren Oberflächen – Glanzschwarz, Mattschwarz und Gold – werden mit derselben Sorgfalt aufgebracht, die OZ auch bei seinen Rennsport-Komponenten anwendet, was jeder Variante eine Tiefe und Konsistenz verleiht, die das Rad ebenso zum optischen Blickfang wie zum Leistungs-Upgrade macht.
Leistung auf der Rennstrecke
Die Reduzierung der rotierenden Masse am Rad ist eines der wirkungsvollsten Einzel-Upgrades für Fahrer auf der Rennstrecke. Da sich das Rad sowohl dreht als auch die Richtung wechselt, verbessert eine Gewichtsreduzierung die Beschleunigung, das Bremsverhalten und den Kraftaufwand, um das Motorrad in eine Kurve zu legen. Bei der Panigale 959, die bereits präzises, engagiertes Fahren belohnt, verstärkt das Cattiva diese Eigenschaften – das Motorrad reagiert williger sowohl auf Gas- als auch auf Lenkbefehle. Dieses Rad ist ausschließlich für den Rennstreckeneinsatz konzipiert und darf nicht im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr verwendet werden.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Dieses Hinterrad wurde speziell für die Ducati Panigale 959 über den gesamten Produktionszeitraum von 2016 bis 2019 konzipiert und entwickelt. Das Original-Kettenrad von Ducati ist mit dem mitgelieferten Kettenradträger nicht kompatibel; ein passendes Kettenrad für den Träger muss montiert werden.
