Öhlins prüft nach dem Honen Rundheit und Zylinderform, nicht nur den Durchmesser. Bei mehreren gleich beschriebenen Größen entscheidet allein die Nummer, welche gemeint ist. Die Einheit ist nur so gut wie ihre kleinste Passung; deshalb lohnt sich das Originalteil auch an unscheinbarer Stelle.
