Was es ist
Zu dieser Position nennt Öhlins kein Maß; maßgeblich ist die Zeichnung der Einheit. An der Aufnahme für den Ausgleichsbehälter sitzt eine eigene Dichtstelle. Der Zylinder gibt die Lage aller inneren Bauteile zueinander vor. Wird das Rohr überhitzt, verliert die Honung ihre Struktur und die Dichtung verschleißt schneller.

Kanäle im Kopf verbinden Zylinder und Ausgleichsbehälter. Bei Dichtungen und Führungen entscheidet ein Hundertstel Millimeter darüber, ob die Einheit dicht bleibt. Wir liefern das Teil so, wie Öhlins es führt — ohne Umverpackung, ohne Zwischenhandel. Die Rohrlänge legt den möglichen Hub fest und ist deshalb je Einheit verschieden.
Zuordnung über die Nummer
Bestellt wird unter 21876-01. Wo sich mehrere Größen eine Bezeichnung teilen, trennt sie nur die Nummer. Riefen im Rohr bedeuten Ölverlust, auch wenn die Dichtung neu ist. Korrosion an der Außenseite ist meist kosmetisch; im Inneren ist sie ein Grund zum Tausch.
