Funktion

Ein Öhlins-Zylinder wird aus dem Vollen bearbeitet, nicht gezogen und nachgerieben. Riefen im Rohr bedeuten Ölverlust, auch wenn die Dichtung neu ist.
Warum das Originalteil
Serviceteile sind das, was ein Fahrwerk vom Verbrauchsartikel unterscheidet. Öhlins fertigt Serviceteile in denselben Toleranzen wie die Erstausrüstung; ein Nachbau trifft die Passung selten. Wer die Einheitsnummer des Federbeins kennt, bekommt von uns die passende Teileliste dazu. Kommt die Einheit ohnehin auf die Werkbank, lohnt es sich, die benachbarten Verschleißteile mitzubestellen.
Die Bohrung für die Welle ist enger toleriert als die Außenkontur. Die Nummer steht in der Explosionszeichnung der Einheit; danach ist die Bestellung eindeutig. Teile aus dem Servicekatalog tragen dieselben Werkstoffe wie die Erstbestückung, nicht nur dieselben Maße. Für die Überholung einer kompletten Einheit stellen wir den Teilesatz auf Wunsch zusammen. Der Innendurchmesser ist auf wenige Hundertstel toleriert, weil der Kolben ohne Ölverlust gleiten muss.

Öhlins führt diese Position in der Explosionszeichnung der zugehörigen Einheit unter 20570-02. Das Rohr führt den Kolben und nimmt den Druck auf, den die Dämpfung erzeugt. Der Kopf schließt den Zylinder ab und führt die Welle nach außen.
