Was es ist
Als Maß nennt Öhlins Durchmesser 46 mm, Länge 26 mm. Die Oberfläche wird nach dem Honen gespült, damit kein Schleifrückstand ins Öl gerät. Korrosion an der Außenseite ist meist kosmetisch; im Inneren ist sie ein Grund zum Tausch. Der Zylinder gibt die Lage aller inneren Bauteile zueinander vor.
