Funktion
Nach Öhlins-Angabe: Dimension A 1 mm, Dimension B 30 mm. Öhlins gibt die Grundeinstellung in Rasten ab der geschlossenen Stellung an. Der Versteller verändert den Ölquerschnitt und damit die Dämpfung im Betrieb. Zwischen den Rasten liegt ein definierter Winkel; Zwischenstellungen bringen nichts.
Original-Öhlins-Teil
Wer eine Einheit überholt, tauscht selten alles: meist entscheiden wenige Positionen darüber, ob die Dämpfung wieder stimmt. Die Einheit ist nur so gut wie ihre kleinste Passung; deshalb lohnt sich das Originalteil auch an unscheinbarer Stelle. Für die Überholung einer kompletten Einheit stellen wir den Teilesatz auf Wunsch zusammen. Die Nummer steht in der Explosionszeichnung der Einheit; danach ist die Bestellung eindeutig.
Die Nadel hat eine Spitze mit flachem Winkel, damit die Änderung fein ausfällt. Bei Dichtungen und Führungen entscheidet ein Hundertstel Millimeter darüber, ob die Einheit dicht bleibt. Wer die Einheit selbst zerlegt, sollte die Nummern vor dem Ausbau notieren; hinterher sind sie schwer zu lesen. Öhlins ändert Teile im Laufe einer Baureihe; die Nummer, nicht das Baujahr, sagt, was passt.
Zuordnung über die Nummer
Die Nummer 21653-34 ist eindeutig; die Bezeichnung allein ist es nicht, weil Öhlins ähnliche Wortlaute über mehrere Größen verwendet. Verschmutzte Verstellerbohrungen führen zu einer Kennlinie, die nicht mehr reproduzierbar ist.
