Was es ist
Zu dieser Position nennt Öhlins kein Maß; maßgeblich ist die Zeichnung der Einheit. Der Stickstoffdruck liegt je nach Einheit zwischen zehn und zwanzig bar. Ein Behälter aus Aluminium wird nach dem Fügen auf Dichtheit geprüft. Eine korrekt bestückte Überholung stellt das Ansprechverhalten wieder her, das ein müder Dämpfer verloren hat. Der Schlauch verbindet Dämpfer und Behälter und muss den vollen Systemdruck tragen.

21508-05 ist die Öhlins-Nummer für diese Position — dieselbe, die auch in den Serviceunterlagen steht. Sinkt der Gasdruck, mischt sich Luft ins Öl und die Dämpfung wird schaumig. Das Reservoir nimmt das Öl auf, das die einfahrende Welle verdrängt.
